Deadwood (S.3) - 10/10

The best television show ever. Having to go back to The Sopranos and Breaking Bad almost feels like punishment.

Have you watched John From Cincinnati yet? It was created by David Milch too. It's totally different from Deadwood, but a lot of the actors show up in it, and some of the characters have a weird off kilter way of speaking that's similar in a way to Deadwood.

Black Snake Moan - 9/10 - This is one of a very small handful of movies that I am tempted to give a 10 to. It is one of my favorites and it is not just because Christina Ricci wrapping herself in that chain is so damned sexy...but that doesn't hurt the movie a bit.:)

No, not yet but I'll have to check it out. Your the second person that's brought it up.

The dialogue was only one of many things that drew me to Deadwood. The cast in unparalleled imo, and I loved the costumes and sets and how authentic the entire production felt.

Plus I like to root for the bad guy and in Deadwood thats pretty much everybody. :lol

True Grit 6.5 / 10 Was not a huge fan of this one for whatever reason

Skyline 3 / 10 Ummmmm only reason it was ranked as high as it was because the human's actually lost the battle like we should lose.

Jackass 3d 6 / 10 Funny moments, but same old same old...rip Dunn

Meet the Faulkers ( SP? ) 6 / 10 Same as above, funny moments but same old same old.

Just so you know, people either loved this show or hated it (more hated it, I think). It was probably a little too weird for some people.

I loved it, btw. It's too bad it lasted only one season.

Last Three I've Watched:
Super 8- 7/10 (The ending was really cliche' kinda felt like they ran out of ideas)
X-Men First Class- 8/10 (Would have been a 10/10 if it didn't have some cheesy parts like the kid who screams.)
The Prestige- 10/10 (Just barely got around to Netflixing this one in. Holy ____! I liked this just as much as Inception. Just goes to show that Nolan never fails.)

Company Men... 8/10. Timely, well acted, a real solid movie.

A bit slow at times -2

The Thing: 8/10

Still nothing like it. John Carter had a few moments of real genius IMO. My wife walked out of the room pretty early on :lol
