Let the Right One In... hm, it's hard to be fair to this movie, because the English dubbing was SO BAD. I think I would have liked it A LOT more if it was in its original language with English subtitles instead.

The version I saw: 4/10

Does a subtitled, rather than dubbed, version exist? (I guess I should read the thread about it, eh?)

the version you rented didn't come with a subtitled track?!? that's odd. it should have

the problem is that the version that is out right now is not the original subtitle track that was shown theatrically. apparently the studio is re-releasing the DVD with the original subtitle track which is far superior to the current one.

Yeah, must be because I had heard such great things and this one was pretty horrible. Very very odd cuts and seriously, the dubbing was BAD BAD BAD. I wonder if they also cut out some from the theatrical release because it really felt like it was missing something

Oh, and it was dubbed into English, but all the writing was still in its original language, so I have NO IDEA what the notes Eli gave to Oskar said...

I actually shut off LTROI after about 20 minutes. It didn't engage me at all. I think I'll give it another try. Maybe I was just not in the right mood....

I never bothered with the sequels but the first is great! it's like Jason X it's so bad it's fun to watch

I never bothered with the sequels but the first is great! it's like Jason X it's so bad it's fun to watch

the first hour of the movie was just the leprechaun chasing a shop owner around hitting him with a bat.

Then the second half was about a fat guy trying to get it on with a robot woman that in the end electricuted him.
Then the main character turned into what was supposed to be a leprechaun since the real one bit him. He put on the worst Irish accent I have ever heard !.

dude, when you're bored and Jason X is on the scifi chanel it is fun to watch just to laugh c'mon if you wanted a laugh and were bored you'd watch it if it were on
