Oldboy 6/10

I already knew the twist so I just felt bored watching it. I kept pausing it and I would do something else then come back to it. I thought some parts were cheesy with over acting like when he acts like a dog at the end, while barking and licking the guys shoes. I rolled my eyes pretty hardcore at that point. Overall, I just don't get the love for this movie. It's got a pretty good twist, but that's really all it has going for it.

Oh and that one shot fight scene with oldboy versus a bunch of guys was laughably bad. You could constantly see the attackers pulling their kicks and punches. It' like they weren't even trying to make it look real.

I really enjoyed this, pretty much most things in the film worked well

The CGI was pretty easy to detect as CGI in some areas, The new mexico 'town' looked like you could navigate the whole thing in about three minutes & Loki's power was never defined, does he throw magic or blades? Does he turn invisible or posess people? Wasn't explained too well. That's it for Cons

Don't know much about Sif but with her being the only other female love-interest type in the film i was expecting some love-triangle to develop but it didn't, i guess you just grow to expect them to happen as they are a cliche of films.

The Experiment 7/10 Enjoyable and interesting. The more I watch movies with Adrien Brody the more I like the dude.

Oh gosh, I remember that movie as being very rage worthy. I don't remember exactly why, but I ain't gonna watch it again to find out.

Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked: 4 / 10, even with the kids' movie grading curve.

The Company Men: 8 / 10. Well acted movie; though predictable, it was enjoyable. While it's hard to have sympathy for people making over $100,000 a year not being able to pay for their country club memberships and having to sell their Porsche, I can understand the loss of identity and guilt being unemployed and not being able to provide for one's family brings.

i haven't seen that, but it is on my netflix. did you see "i saw the devil"? i thought that was 10x's better than oldboy. a much better revenge movie.

Cowboys and Aliens extended cut 7/10 - I enjoyed this movie last summer, but this is the first time I've got to watch the blu. I hit the extended cut of course, but you can stick with the theatrical. There's nothing added that improves or adds to the story, just the run time.

Contagion 7/10 - I thought it was pretty good; I just couldn't get into it for some reason.

Bad Teacher 8/10 - Very funny movie and Cameron Diaz is smokin' hot in it, so that's a plus!

Fright Night (remake) 8/10 - Thought it was a pretty entertaining remake.

Conan The Barbarian 2011: 2/10

Wow. Nothing in this flick was good. It looked awful. Horribly acted. A plot that was just....i have no ____ing idea. It did make me laugh. So thats something.
I really loved how they spent less then 3 minutes in each location, before they quested someplace else. . The explosion at the beginning was hilarious. :rotf:
