I said it in the other thread. Star Trek is just plain out better (IMO of course) than any other summer movie last year. Yes even Iron Man and Dark Knight. I don't count KOTCS anymore. That movie doesn't even supply the tissue paper to be able to wipe this movies ass.

I've never been a star trek guy ( or star wars really .. ) but the new movie looks great.

Star Trek is the only movie that I've seen since the Dark Knight that can rival TDK.

The only reason I think it beats out the Dark Knight is because TDK had some dry boring parts in between the action. This movie seemed to keep a good pace and then went all out at the end. I am not a huge Trek fan. I watched The Next Generation a bunch when I was a kid and all of the movies. But I don't own a single one on dvd.
I WILL own this movie when it comes out and hope that this is a new beginning for the franchise. This is one thing that they took the old and made it better and not suck. This is even better than the SW prequels. Which I guess isn't that hard to do but I am a huge SW fan.
I can't say enough about this movie. Just fantastic! Fan ^^^^ing Tastic!

It was definitely as good as TDK and upon my second viewing I may even like it better. I hope this movie does well and that we can see great sequels to come.

Disturbing, but also very humorous. This Belgian film is filmed as a documentary.
A documentary following a serial killer. Following him to his "work" and showing how he kills people and disposes of the bodies.
From this discription it may not sound funny at all, but there is some really good humor in this one. I laughed out loud on several occasions.
I can't and won't say anything more because of possible spoilers but I have one suggestion: If you haven't seen it, watch it!

Really a meh film, didn't hate it didn't love it. Just kind of watched it and didn't get much out of it. Probably didn't help that I saw the excellent Trek flick the day before
