I think I might put him on a HT body, I freakin hate the buck. Though Gandalf is not really a character that I would pose in dramatic fashion. I dont know.

This is one figure where the extra articulation wouldn't be worth the cost IMO.

So is it safe to say we all agree with Adam's initial rave of the figure a couple of weeks ago??

Mine came in today, and wow... Simply put, this is the best SSC 1/6 figure yet produced in any line.

I have both, and yes. Overall Gandalf is Sideshow's best 1/6 effort. The detail is HT-like. I'd have to put to over both Nazi Kroenen and Old Ben.

I think I agree with you. The molded skin works better than Ben's paintwork this time around (no shine). Tough call on Kroenen though -- I mean, that face under the mask is classic. But yeah, Gandalf probably looks more "real" in hand at scale.

I keep trying to think of all the SS efforts now to compare...



Pretty amazing to think what Sideshow is leaving behind -- meaning the 1/6th market -- considering they're hitting so many home runs lately.

I dont know if it is better than the NK for me, but it is far beyond 95% of all SS's 1/6 products.

Hmmm that's a good question. Indy i have no doubt will look like this and Ki i just don't know.

I'm not getting those two so it don't matter to me. But Darth Tyrannus with this style casting =

Mine should be tomorrow or and I'm really getting pumped. I think the outfit is a little too crisp and clean but that is easily rememdied. PLEASE let Indy look as good!
