Looks good in that shot... seems to hold to his body really well. If you get a chance post some pics showing of how you got it to fit on him.

Sure, I actually used the SSC official images as a starting point of how to lay it on him.

Any shots posted of Gandalf wearing the darker cloak... I couldn't get it to looks very good when I tried it out.

It's hard to see, but the shot of him with the staff in my poster image is in the dark cloak, trying to be film accurrate, matching the Mines of Moria scene.

Looks good in that shot... seems to hold to his body really well. If you get a chance post some pics showing of how you got it to fit on him.

Gandalf looks great. I'm so tempted but just can't responsibly swing it right now. And $90 is a bit steep for a figure on the buck. $70? No question I would have him right now.

I figure about $25-30 for a new body. If it were Hot Toys and on the True Type body it'd be at least $110 if not $130+ retail not to mention the foreign shipping cost. So the quality and price really are a bit more in line with Hot Toys and not your typical Sideshow 12" figure. Get him when you can, he really is an amazing figure, maybe my favourite ever!

I just received my GTG. In my opinion, this is one of the best 12-inch figure ever from SS. I have absolutely no complaints at all and I am so pleased with it.

I got mine a few minutes ago, and yes he's very nice. The body on mine is pretty bad though. He's quite floppy and his hands practically spin around in their sockets, so he can't hold his staff or sword very well. The skin on the face does look a lot more real than on other figures from Sideshow.
