yeah, im not sure how i feel about this yet?? having to fork over the money way before hand and now its an easy get and cheaper, at least for now. i think people are so in love that they just let this slide. if the figure was a dud you bet the posts would be burning up.

I will definitely re-do the tie. Someone mentioned earlier that is was a windsor knot and they were going to try a half windsor. I'm curious how it came out. Since the tie is only 1/6, if you do the thinner knot, how much longer would it make the tie?

If you guys can keep up the momentum and interest it wont be far away when Denny will be convinced enough to take up an accessory pack for this figure. Which I think is essential. And for the pack Ill advocate
1. Gloved Hands for gripping, trigger type and relaxed
2. More ungloved hands for gripping/pointing etc
3. Wristwatch (Rolex Datejust Two-Tone with Jubilee band)
4. Walkman
5. Nailgun
6. Brickphone
These should be expensive enough IMO for everyone to afford.

The expansion pack is necessary!!!! The Walkman, nail gun and two-tone Rolex are essential. I'm sure if they include the cell phone they'll just borrow the one from ZCWO's A Better Tomorrow. I got it on eBay and it does the trick perfectly.

Its not accurate to the film technically... seeing their 3D sculptor' prowess I think if we did broach it he may do a much better job. check his work on the Rick Walke Talkie...

So nobody checked out the song I posted earlier huh? I'm guessing you judged it by its cover. It uses some actual sound bytes from Bateman in it. I thought you might get a kick out of it.

Wont happen, nor will the Screaming Head sculpt be available. They are DX exclusive items. It negates the whole idea of more benefits to those who did get in on the DX.

I still am to a degree because its not as good as the other and has a vibe of Jim Carey to it, and if the quality of this release was like all past iminime figures I'd still be glad I passed. But it's because it's so good that I see it as something that would be nice to have the same reason why I'd like to collect as many appropriate accessories for bateman from sunglasses to suspenders to business cards to cell phones to chain saws.
But what was always hard for me to pass on was the overcoat. To me that's a central part of his look.
So the thing is I think that we should try and get someone, like Moe, to do a run of overcoats. What do you guys say?

Had a day to soak in the figure and I am still amazed by it. I got the DX and my first impression was wow! Such a stunning figure.

Guys one thing, if you can hold off from buying small parts off ebay to accessories the set I would really recommend you do that, because if you guys really want an accurate accessories expansion set we will need all the support we can get because we have to show Denny convincingly how much we want these accessories and feel they are integral to this release...
So if you hold off from sourcing things like Nail Gun, watch etc etc we can get the accurate real deal from the makers of the figure itself! and honestly in the long run itll cost us less time and money to have it from one source and of consistent quality...

I'd buy the pack also but the things I listed with the exception of the nail gun are really a lot more hard to come by than hands and the brick phone, even of its not as accurate to the one on eBay, if the pack included things that just can't be found like the Oliver people's glasses and the Walkman in addition to the nail gun it would make it worth my while to want a slightly more accurate watch or phone.
