Ok this thread has fallen way too silent. So to jog it up, I talked to Denny... he said he will go all out on this release...

It is officially planned to be a DELUXE release, and the first with 2 unique head sculpts. (This will be there second DELUXE release after [Secret Project]) So everything will be special on this. He said he is open to test making varied accessories. more than his usual releases...

however he needs to know one thing.

For the second sculpt which expression do you guys want. Cold Stare/Focus or Slight Smirk...
(these two were the top 2 in the last vote for expression, almost a tie, so please reiterate your choice, the second sculpt will be made based on that - remember we are already getting a screaming one [I still have the original list of votes, but with one sculpt being screaming confirmed I want to know what expression people want to prefer now keeping that in mind)

I vote for Slight Smirk like this: Because after the screaming one, this one will complement it perfectly...

Please state your choices from here, Denny himself will see this thread and decide between the two...

Cant say much about that man as costing estimates are done by them only after full prototype is complete as only then can they get an accurate estimate... but considering Denny always wants to keep things affordable, I think you should reserve that $500 for this release.
Between this and the Secret Project Im personally saving around $1k or so...

cold stare. I feel like smirk and open mouth with no cold stare just makes no sense for bateman. After all, there are several monologues in the film about his COLD GAZE... we need this included in the release!

i vote cold stare too - that and the screaming sculpt would then as a pair be quite complementary and dichotomous. like a hippopotamus.

Looks like Cold Stare is going to be the winner cause Smirk and Cold stare/Focused were literally tied the last time but with the screaming coming in, the cold stare is turning out to be a winner... himm. Ill wait for sometime to see what the other guys interested in this think.

By the way will you guys classify this as the cold stare too?

Because the one we commonly associate

if used as a reference can potentially be hazardous for the sculptor as its got a fish eye distortion of the face proportions and end up like Rainman's attempt at Dexter.

Will Cold Stare be equivalent to his steely straight face?

+1 for cold stare, I think it will compliment the screaming headsculpt

I see both of those pics as cold stare, so would be happy to see either.

The biggest difference being the position of the eyebrows. They shouldn't be so burrowed. I think it'll be fine as long as they take this into account

Ok before I was for the smirk but that was before the screaming sculpt was revealed as the first sculpt. So now I agree that the second sculpt should be the cold stare. This is a great contrast to the other sculpt and I think it plays off more neutral to different poses like others wanted.

Ok so will this work as Cold Stare... Im having a hard time here for finding references of the expression from all angles... Because if this is it... I will definately be marking this as the main reference. Because trust me guys an expression less/emotionless sculpt is as tricky to make as an overtly expressive one...

......but there is no real me, only an entity...something illusory. And though I can hide my COLD GAZE and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am..not ..there..

I think that is a good reference except the eyes. The intensity isn't there. He looks too lethargic.
