Ok guys, I had a talk with Denny, all I can say is start saving up...
The clothing they are going to make for this will be one of their best offerings as Denny said, and with all the raincoat and overcoat... yes AND Overcoat shizzle... the clothing itself will cost a bomb.
So it seems to balance it out the accessories offered in the default set will be the absolute essential and easier ones...
With the complicated ones coming in the expansion set...
This is going to be an Epic AND EXPENSIVE release... (maybe more than Secret Project) Im saving upto $600 to be safe to snag the Grand Package DX which is the regular set plus all the shebangs and options...
You guys really interested start saving up as the price on this will be...

Well that's what I mean. The idea of having to pay extra for what sounds like will already be a very expensive set is a huge hit for me, but we'll see how things go.

Im not gonna compromise on a character who has essentially been my biggest grail ever outside the realm of EB and HT licenses... and considering the trend it might just be the definitive version of the character...
Well quality comes at a price... the clothing on Bateman is expensive and complicated enough and has so much detail... and on top of that 2 sculpts... and then more accessories... If people want all the customised shizzle and have it cheap too then they should keep hoping as they have over the years for HT or Enterbay make him... which is doubtful.

I think Bateman is going to turn out amazing. Probably their best work to date, but I already see the next project that will dethrone Bateman and that's Hannibal.

Hahaha makes sense the film was all about designer labels and this sounds like its gunna be the equivalent of the 1/6 game.
Still interested in taking the raincoat and sculpt if they are available seperate and maybe some of the other parts.
Glad the raincoat is included that would be a total fail without it. The nailgun as an add on is fair enough and not essential but would have been nice.

All depends on how fast the whole proto can be put together (clothing and accessories) for the proto photo reveal and beginning of Preorders.
600 is my highest saving price for grand package deal... it is NOT the announced price or the final price, so dont freak out. I am saving that much, ME so that I can be on the safe side to buy everything and every option this set has to offer. That doesnt mean its the asking price.

Bateman never wore a blazer under the overcoat in any scene other than the 'espace' restaurant one... watch the Paul Allen's apartment sequence where he goes to pack the stuff inside Paul's suitcase, AND also the scene where he comes to office with the walkman... no full sleeve length blazer. Overcoat on top of shirt with suspenders...

He wore a blazer underneath his overcoat when he dragged Paul Allen's dead body out of his apartment building.
No biggie, we can always remove the blazer but please tell me they're doing the pinstripe with the two tone and paisley tie!

The tie is a problem which I discussed, as it was impossible from any screen grab to get what the exact design was (which was quite a great complicated design of yellow, red and black... so a pattern will be chosen which would look similar on normal display)
