This guy was slated to direct Flash at one point. Better him to do this movie, IMO.

They should have set the movie further in the future...ten years is a bit too close. That being said, in 1950 had a movie come out about a guy building a computer for personal use in his basement during his spare time people would have laughed and said "thats not possible...even in the future"

Maybe. . .but what I am thinking is the movie will take a different direction. Marvin's robot was something that you could envision a couple guys putting together in a world where robots exist and can box. This newer one will probably be corporate sponsors helping engineers like Jackman build better robots than one another. Which would bring another dimension to the movie I'm not sure I want to see. But who knows? All we have to go on is a movie poster. If it is a fun movie, then that will be enough.

Monopoly, Battleship, Candyland, Clue and Ouija...

I like them better when they were called

Wall Street, Pearl Harbor, California Gurls, Clue, and Paranormal Activity.

In the TZ episode the robots look basically human, having them look like outlandish cartoon characters does make it feel a bit camp. Also, the premise that human boxing is outlawed seems a bit implausible with the outrageously brutal MMA stuff that's so popular now. Hell boxing is relatively tame by comparison.
