Red Dead Redemption

I really enjoyed Gun on the PS2 and have been replaying it in anticipation of this game. Red Dead Redemption is going to be 100 times more awesome then Gun, so I really can't wait until it comes out. It's going to be so amazing.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that (IMO) this is going to be one of the greatest gaming experiences of all time.

I'm going to have to agree. The depth of the this game is unreal.

Was talking to a kiddie last night at my work about this game.(huge gamer kid) 19 yr old is not interested, "GTA old west = BORING" I wonder if a lot of the young generation will be put off by the old west theme.

I had to slap the ____ outta him.

I've never been this excited to play a game. I believe that this will do for Rockstar what GTA III did for them.

Rockstar have taken everything they know about making games and turned it up to '11'. This game will be the result of that!

This game looks awesome. I'm just trying to think of ways they can mess it up.

Too many times, games are hyped up to be awesome, but then there's little things like janky cameras or horse controls or an odd control scheme that pulls a game down.

He deserved it. In his defence he's maybe not discovered some of the awesome Western films from the 60's and 70's yet that this game draws upon.
I imagine it's also difficult to compete with the faster and arguably more exciting Modern Warfare style of games the younger generation is used to.

This game looks awesome. I'm just trying to think of ways they can mess it up.

I'd say the controls will work well, this is the Rockstar team we're talking about here, they'll keep it close to something that feels familiar. I predict it will feel very similar to GTA4, a little slow maybe, but realistic. Plus, they've been making this for something like 5 years!?!
