The end could not have been done any better.

Hyperbolic words get tossed around very easily. But I can definitely say, with no exaggeration, that I was simply stunned by the ending. I just watched, slack jawed.

Also, Undead was a great DLC because it wasn't just the game re-skinned with zombies. The whole vibe of the world was just off-putting and depressing (in a good way).

I've been playing this today. Only online so far though but it's really fun. Looking forward to doing the campaign now I've got a taster :)

Been playing it for the past 4 days,

and i got to the point of a shocking incident

John Marston Dies? is it how it's supposed to go? no diff route? i Loved The dude & His character.. now i'm controlling his son and just found Edgar Ross and killed him to end the game

Yeah, that's it man!

Jack avengers his father John by killing Edger Ross.

Now all you have to do is complete the side missions.

Also there are activities / trophies to gain / unlock outfits etc...

build your reputation and earn money.

I'd love to see Rockstar tackle some other era's. I don't know which ones but everything they touch turns to awesome

I am sure you have played L.A. Noire?

Yah that was a fabulous game. I got about 15 hours into it and then... kinda lost interest. It was a game that the wife and I played together; I controlled the detective during gameplay, and she liked the detective work and interviewing. When I moved out of town temporarily for work we stopped playing it and I haven't picked it up since. Next large holiday I get I should start again. I think it didn't quite have enough action for me; I like the run n gun Grand Theft and RDR

Just started Undead Nightmare. What a nice twist to the regular story. But man those zombies are effing me up. Any tips on killing them easy? Besides headshots I havent found a way to kill em off without unloading all my ammo into them. This is intense!

Agree. Was pumped for the game and enjoyed it early on but after a while it was just the same stuff over and over.

I hear ya! I had a 2nd thought about this game being more 'text book' rather then shoot'em up, but Rockstar really pulled this game off and did so well!

The game is great and you and your wife should totally get back into it.

Even download the 5 extra cases, you'll both love it.

Sure it can get a bit repetitive but the story line is great!

Not to get too off topic but you all played Bully?

Run up close to the undead, either in front or behind them and fire. (It will jump to a quick cut scene) and John will perform an automatic head shot.

That's how I play it as ammo is scarce.

Thanks for the tip. And yes I played Bully. Loved every minute of it too. Wheres my Bully 2 at Rockstar?

Yeah they throw out the occasional "We would love to do Bully 2!", then nothing.

Bully is my favorite Rockstar game by miles.

Totally yeah!

Just release it or at least show some progress.

I guess Red Dead Redemption / L.A. Noire and the rest of the GTA Series made up for it.

I also finished Bully and got every achievement for that game. It was a lot of fun!

For sure! I even got the Go Kart zipping around the place looking for those Blue Rubber Bands :lol

Off topic again, but worth it:

You all remember this game by Rockstar..?

LA Noire was. . . I won't say junk, but it really felt like it was it's own game before, then Rockstar bought it and said "This game is crap, you have to shoehorn these Rockstar elements into it"

It was probably very similar to Heavy Rain before Rockstar took over development.

I was just waiting for it to get great like RDR, but it never did, like EVILFACE said, it was just the same thing over and over again.

For me, RDR started off very slow, but after a while, I was hooked. I remember I was nearing the conclusion and the UPS driver came to my door, and he saw the game on my TV and we talked about it for a bit, and I said "I think I'm near the end, so don't look at the screen"

Short version? My UPS driver is a cool ass dude.
