You Want More Red Dead Redemption DLC? "Some Exciting Things Are Planned"
Written Friday, May 28, 2010 by Richard Walker

Rockstar has already announced the free Outlaws to the End Co-Op DLC Pack, which is expected to arrive sometime in June. But there's also more on the way, scheduled for later in the year.

Over on the Rockstar News Wire, there's a Q&A clearing up burning community questions, and as the inevitable query about DLC pops up, the site has this to say: "...there will definitely be more DLC packs to follow, later this summer and into the fall. Some exciting things are planned – we’ll be announcing info including release time frames and pricing on those in the coming months."

So, there'll be ample DLC support for Red Dead Redemption, which shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering how well supported GTA IV was with its two vast episodes.

More on this when we get it, of course. Until then, have you read our review yet?

I wish I realized how useful those survivalist maps are in finding plants. It would have made the plant gathering much more bearable. My first attempt at knifing a grizzly bear was easier than I expected. It took 2 repeater shots and 3 knife slashes. It did help that the bear started running after I shot it.

Got bored with this game. I feel like you spend more time riding around then you do actually doing anything interesting. I will try to finish it and see if it picks back up. I just got to Mexico. Really wishing I got Alan Wake instead.

I hear ya, I get paid today, so I think I'm going to go pick up the Collector's Edition of Alan Wake....don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast, but I need a bit of a break

Wow, I've got over 25 hours invested in the single player and this game is just as fun now (if not funner) as it was when I first started! I don't see a need for a break anytime in the future, but that's just me.

Thats part of the fun. Riding around shooting stuff. I do most of that on my way to finding a hideout or doing a mission. For me I guess I enjoy the riding around and just doing ____ and I'm not usually one for open world games.

Is there any way to tell what kind of horse you're riding? I've broken a few of them, but I don't know if I'm trading up or down when I keep one.

In that preview still of the trailer showing Martson standing with his allies, who is that guy between Irish and the Marshal. I dont remember him being at the raid.

I just picked this up and it will be tonights entertainment for myself.

I was considering Alan Wake but, i watched some previews of that game and in the game your flash light is more of your main weapon= retarded, game looks great though and i am sure the story is good.

Okay, that's cool. Believe me, I still want to play Alan Wake. I know it's been getting great reviews, and it looks like a great game. :)

Dunno if anyone else has encountered this problem but the other night i found that when i pressed the triangle button (on ps3) it had stopped working. I could press it for other stuff in the pause menu and stuff but when i needed to collect something or mount the horse it wasnt showing up and wasnt working. Meaning i had to run to where i was going and then couldnt collect the bounty after i'd killed a bunch of outlaws.
Anyone else had this problem?

Maybe a stupid question but, how do i get the rope to tie up people?, do i have to buy it or earn it?, is it already in my inventory some how?.

From Xbox's Facebook Page:

Tomorrow night at midnight, Fox will be airing an original 30-minute Red Dead Redemption “machinima” short composed of footage made using the game itself which reimagines John Marston’s pursuit of Bill Williamson.
