Since I ported Snake Eyes over to a TTA, I have his old black Prometheus left over. Thinking of using that for the Red Ninja to give the illusion of a black undersuit so when the Red Ninja is posed in wide stances and his pants ride up, no skin colored ankles are exposed. Thoughts?

He'll be hella shiny. :lol

True, true.

Might want to stalk TA for a clone trooper/shadow trooper posting and just nab one of the body suits. I think the newer ribbed suits will look better, but at $16, might be more economical to just grab a Shadow/Stormtrooper one for $10 (might snipe an ebay auction for a hasbro one for cheaper). I know Triad makes some for around the $12 mark, but all their pics show the figures with boots on and I'm not sure they'll go all the way down to the ankle which defeats the purpose.

Speaking of TA, anyone know if they're getting the Red Ninja to break down? I like the Red Ninja's carbon steel finish katanas a lot better than Storm Shadow's shiny finish. Haven't seen any breakdowns on TA, and I thought they would have gotten them by now.

at least I got the pants, shirt and vest. Missed out on both arm and leg bracers....how much were those? :(

shame about the pants issue. now TA is sold out of pants but have 5 shirts and vest sitting around. wonder if those will sell. they underpriced the pants I guess :lol, not that I am complaining. should have sold the whole outfit as a set. hopefully they break down more, I need the bracers!

I was lucky enough to buy the last pair of pants, though I'm thinking about keeping them as is and buying the rest of the outfit for a second ninja with all the extras that one comes with.

For the pants length issue I might just buy a second shirt and use that to fix both ninjas, the important thing is to have enough matching fabric to make some calf sleeves whether it's from pants or a shirt doesn't really matter.

I am working on my Red Ninja and all I did was used some double sided tape and some black fabric to wrap the calves. The leg bracers have enough red fabric to cover the front and sides of the legs so all you are really covering is the back of the legs and it looks fine with the black fabric.

Here is how the back of my figure looks after hiking the pants up and wrapping the lower legs with black fabric. The black wrap matches the belt so it doesn't bother me. The flesh color that you can still see is the ball joint of the ankle. I might redo it and leave a little extra black fabric hanging off the lower leg to help cover that up or just paint the joints black.

Well the tops can be used as well to wrap the lower legs.

there are some really simple solutions that don't involve purchasing another item. such as cutting some excess material from the bottom of the shirt (since its tucked in anyway) or paint the legs. or find a scrap of any red fabric...but how many times do you guys look at the back of a figure anyway? seems just a funny thing to spend more money on to me.
