Any customizers here thinking about putting a cap on his head? I wonder how smooth it would look.

Well, got my Red Skull Ex. in yesterday, and I'm very happy with it. Looks quite good with Cap, and every other figure as well. I don't think I ever posted a pic of my display, so I'll put one for that in as well, and yes, I know, the Warcraft diorama doesn't exactly fit in well.

NOTE: All pieces are exclusive versions.

Nice use of those cheap Walmart audio stands! :D

Just got my Red Skull Ex. today but there's a small chip on his cane. I'm contemplating whether or not to send him back to Sideshow for a replacement. I've never done this before so can anyone list any cons to doing so. I know with the Stealth Iron Man there was trouble with getting the original box back? Also, do I pay for shipping when sending the piece back? I guess I need a run though of how the process works, before I make a decision. Also, chime in whether you would send him back for a replacement or not.

You may not get a replacement if you send it back. It depends on how many people have problems. If it's a small problem and you can live with it then I suggest keeping it but if it will bug you then maybe you should take your chances with a replacement. Sometimes though, you might get a different statue but in worse shape.

Awesome pice Rory. I love this piece. I gotta get him next to Cap as for now he's on the coffee table (the new statue home for every piece to shine in the spot light for a little bit)

So basically its a 50:50 gamble? It bothers me a little because I know down the road IF I go to resell him, it may hurt his value. (ie. I have an Exclusive Hulk LSB with a small chip and I can't GIVE him away!) However, I know not to hold my breath when it comes to a perfect paint finish from Sideshow. And then there's the potential of sending him back and getting another piece with ANOTHER blemish. So Sideshow doesn't "fix" the pain job on your piece, they just replace it with another one base and all? Or how does it work?

I want the Captain and Red Skull, how bout $2000.00 for both Exclusives!!!!

Ummm.... hell no, but I'm betting everyone is holding out on selling their CAPS because of this piece!

J/k I would as well, who am I kidding LMAO!

50:50 gamble? More like 30:70 in favor of not getting a replacement. most likely if you sell him later on, you will get what you paid for or maybe even higher.

I've been looking around my area for a tailor to make a cap, swastika band, and a jacket for my Red Skull but very hard to find.

So if I send him back there's a good chance that they'll just send me the same statue back? Can you walk me through how the process works? I'm getting lost.

They will not send you the damaged statue back. If they do not have a replacement for you, you will be refunded.
