So I recently got a few TT bodies. I thought they were regular TTs but I just got in a John Connor body (which I believe is on a Narrow shoulder TT) and it looks like the rest. Here is a picture of all my bodies I have:

Heres one of them close up. It's the same as the rest:

Can anyone tell me which one I have please.

The one in the middle is definitely a narrow and the 2 to the sides are definitely regulars. The difference is very slight when you have them both in hand, but it's there, and I see it in those pics.

The close-up looks like a narrow-shoulder to me, but it also looks different to all the others - the size of the shoulder ball is definitely smaller than the one to the left of it in the picture.

I see that aussie. Now that I look at the pictures I think the Regular and the Narrow also have different chest molds. Look at the one 2nd from the left. It has a fuller chest and the others have a smaller chest. Maybe that's a sure way of telling which body is which.

Hello everyone, first post but long time figure freak. I have a question for anyone who might have the knowledge. I'm wanting to get a Truetype body for my Sideshow Indy figure and want to know which would be the better of the 2...the new narrowed shoulder TTM-14, or Triad Toys EVO body? Maybe the EVO is still under wraps?

Sorry, didn't mean to say it like that, but is the Truetype better for the Sideshow Indy over the Triad EVO?

The Evo doesn't even exist. It was shown off years ago and still has never actually been made. So if you want to finish the figure in this lifetime, go with the truetype.

The Hot Toys Saizo Kirigakure True Type narrow shoulder with sculpted neck body is the best option for Indy:

It is hard to find though.

Thanks guys...you rock. I was hoping that with the different chest pieces the EVO came with, I could get the perfect chest for Indy, but I didn't know it was out there that long(or not). I didn't know if the ankles would work with his boots anyway. Thanks again!!!

As has been pointed out, the middle is a narrow shoulder, but the one on the far right is the new muscular arm TT like the one thst came with Wesker and Blade. The shoulder is shaped like the narrow, but a bit smaller, and the biceps/triceps and forearms are bigger and more defined with sculpted muscle detail. The rest are reg TTs. As for the chest, it seems most narrows have the smaller pec chest, but I've seen reg TTs with both the smaller and buffer chests. So the chest is not the best way to ID (that sounds funny).

hi, does anybody knows if there is any difference btw Hot Toys Truetype Body - African American (Slim Ver) and the (Caucasian - Slim Version)? are they the same in height and size except for the colour?
thanks.

nikoniko how can you tell the rest are reg TTs. There's got to be a way to tell them apart.

I believe the African American Slim TT has thicker thighs. This was discovered by other fellow freaks when trying the stormtrooper armor thighs on both the caucasian and african american bodies.

I guess he can tell because he has seen them in person. I have at least one of each and in person you can tell the differences right away. At first glance they look the same in the picture, but looking closely it's easy to identify them.

As nikoniko pointed out, there's regular TT who have chests with different thickness. I own 2 Battle Damaged T-800 hamburger head Arnies and one came with a thicker chest than the other one. Strange that Hot Toys would use different bodies on the same character.

also, not sure if it's been addressed here yet, but the harvey dent/two face figure doesnt come on that body pictured. it is the slim chest/wide shoulder body that every figure since the original joker was on, before the introduction of the newer slimmer designs.
