freaking awesome. now i'm actually really getting pumped for this game to come out. this changed my mind...i'm gonna have to get this one now. now i just need to figure out which system to get it for...what's the majority of the people here getting for?? 360 or PS3??

I'm tempted to go with the ps3 on this one since I've played all the others on the playstation although the xbox acheivment system always sucks me back since it makes the game last longer for me. Not sure yet.

well the PS3 has trophies now...almost the same as the achievements.

I'm getting it for 360 primarily for the achievements. Outside of that I liked the feel of the 360 controller a bit more for this game (tried the demo for both consoles).

The graphics, from what I've seen, are almost identical on both consoles, so that won't be a deciding issue.

True, but the 360 achievements add to your gamerscore, whereas the PS3 Trophies don't have that function (if I'm not mistaken).

^^they don't have a gamerscore, but a trophy level or something. basically, its a gimmick just like the achievements...just the early games don't have them implemented.

I can't really get into the trophy thing. I was playing the 360 for 2 years before I got a ps3 so its kind of hard to get used to for me.

yeah me too. of course my gamerscore isn't anything great, it just feels better to have a score in the thousands as opposed to a trophy level 3.

Okay then the new Trophy stuff is a plus for PS3 owners. So what it really comes down to is controller preference. That's the biggest difference.

As I've mentioned before about the graphics, they are almost identical. However, there are slight differences:

well i'm trying to decide over which system will have more people playing online for the co-op. i like the PS3 and only have 3 games for it, but since almost all of my friends have a 360 i tend to get online games for that system so i can go online with them.

I'm getting it for the 360, and I know alot of others on here are also.

Im getting it for the PS3, like haveing all RE on a sony system (besides the gamecube ones). Also wanting the Home stuff as well. Might get it for the 360 done the line though so I can play online with some guys from work.

I'm getting it for 360 since that's the only next gen system I own at the moment. I must confess though if I had a PS3 I probably pick it up for that simply cause most of my other RE games are for Sony.
