I'm just wondering... if there's a "Resident Evil", then shouldn't there be a "Non-resident Evil" ?

i suppose if the zombie/infected were imported into another country they would indeed be "non-resident".

When you play the game on it's weakest setting only to come in and F up the end boss for everyone else then I say sir you may live a very sheltered life.

Maybe i chose not to divulge myself in trailers which show more than id like to see because id like to experience it myself in game thus not knowing Wesker would be included this time.

. we know he's in the game, but not everyone knows the ending yet. also, people like me have been staying away from most of the publicity stuff so they aren't up with the jingo jango

Wesker appears in like, EVERY Resident Evil game, and Darth Viper only mentioned the character's appearance as a boss character that you fight more than once. That hardly spoils anything. He doesn't mention the ending or anything. That and he's giving you a useful tip.

Stop being such babies and move on.

If you don't pay attention to any of the trailers then you wouldn't know who it is, and if you have (or even played the other RE games) then you should expect it.

Had fun playing this tonight. Game is awesome and the graphics are insane. I'm liking this whole Resident Evil business.

Just a tip for anyone--when you get to the end, the second time you fight Wesker, when he's getting set to fly away in the bomber, conserve your ammo--you'll have to fight him again afterwards and it's much harder.

And just to clarify when you know who eventually is the cause of everything in a story naturally you will know that the hero intends to fight said person. I had no idea that Wesker was in this game. My sole point is that he should have used the spoiler tabs. Thats it. There is no defense It was wrong. PERIOD!

just in the interest of argument--there's another spoiler in that that apparently no one got. I said the second time you fight him to conserve ammo for the third time you fight him, so I said three times, not two. He escapes on the airplane after the second fight and then you have to take him out after it crashes and he infects himself. Then that's the end of the game, Jill comes in a helicopter and pics you up, you blast Wesker with rocket launchers as he burns in lava and then fly off into the sunset

I know what he said, I read it the first time he posted it and found no reason to be affronted by it.

I find it hard to believe that unless you did not see any of the trailers or hadn't read any review for the game that you wouldn't know Wesker was in the game and featured prominently as the main antagonist. But I can't be that presumptuous so I guess you win in that regard.

And like I said, Darthviper didn't reveal the ending, but unless you've already played the game through or read his post right above this one you wouldn't know.

just finished chapter 4:2. man... i think the cutscenes rival those of MGS4. they really look fantastic.

I got this today, but I haven't played it yet. Was planning to but the friend I planned on doing co-op with wasn't on. I'm looking forward to it though when I do get a chance to play it. If I don't get around to playing it in the next couple days though, I may have to find someone else to play with.

Well it certainly doesn't feel like a Resident Evil game, and it seems almost absurd with the tweaks to the controls and gameplay that you can't run/walk and shoot but from the two chapters I've played so far it's been a blast. I really hope they consider taking this franchise back to it's roots with this new style of play and control.

Just a getting started but so far this game is great and the controls dont bother me a bit. Its still taking some getting used to that the game doesnt pause when you go to your item screen though.

Yeh, THAT took some serious adjustments. RE4 item menu was a good breather to heal, tidily rearrange your suitcase and prepare.

I agree, I wanted to post some things about the game, questions on which guns to upgrade, but I don't really want to know. I don't want someone to spoil the game for me. So I'm checking out of this thread until I finish the game.
