Dont be silly.

It will be Chris, fighting G-Sherry. On the Moon. Whilst the moon is on a collision course with Earth. And Chris has to defeat G-Sherry then you have to button bash whilst Chris punches the moon back away from earth.

All is correct, except it will turn out Wesker was hibernating within the Sun and didn't actually die. All these Wesker impostors end up being eradicated during the Death and Return of Weskerman.

He texted Darth Sidious to ready the Cyborg operation before he got RPG'd so he an fake his death.

Darth Sidious: Chris is still alive...

Darth Wesker: NOOOOO!!!!!! CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!

No got dammit. Chris, leon and jake combine into a mecha version justin beiber and purge the world of bioterror. Job well done. End of discussion.

Played all 3 campaigns, not bad. But first impressions are that they've tried to add walking and shooting in RE and it hasn't really worked. It's too hectic. Though I suppose so was 5. It probably just needs time to get used to it.

The character models look great whereas the locations and zombies don't being honest.

And Leon, yeah, he's totally boring. Chris is the man. I like jake now after playing as him.

It's definitely like theyre setting up Chris for a big fall, whether that's the loss of his team / insomnia issues or his death, hmmm. It better not be the latter. He's my fave!

my demo rating would be 7/10
You know, I never really understood the "moving and shooting" thing. That just makes it too "Left 4 Dead" for my taste. Granted, I like that game in its own right.

Still, even though Capcom did add the feature this time around, I like the way they handled it. It's kinda like they're saying, "well, you can't say we didn't throw it in there anymore," even if movement is slowed to a crawl. :p

To be honest, moving and shooting is very, very difficult to do. The kind of precision you have to possess to effectively take down targets while moving left or right, or even forwards and backwards, is a skill even I don't have, and I've been shooting guns all my life. And frankly, I've not seen a video game that properly demonstrates the skill it takes to execute such precision. Everyone just wants to be Rambo, I guess.

Personally, I liked that RE4 and RE5 made you stop and really focus on your targets, instead of just "bam, move along." We do enough of that when a dangerous situation suddenly presents itself, forcing us to go into twitch mode.

I've been playing the RE5 demo quite a lot lately and rarely do I use the move and shoot feature. If anything, I use it as an alignment/adjustment for tighter, quicker shots than normal, but even then it's a reaction to something the enemy a.i. has set forth, such as a sidestep. I still pretty much stop dead in my tracks when I go to raise my gun. That's just the way RE has always been played, to me.

You sure you aren't talking about Wesker, Ada and Krauser? Because that doesn't sound like a world free of terror. :lol

Finally played it.

Leon's gameplay was awesome.
It's now what I'm most looking forward to.
Loved being in a city. Love the zombies popping up out of nowhere.
Like old times. ;)

Chris was meh

Jake was was pretty cool.

I wish they'd just create their own COD game instead of turning Resident Evil into it. Capcom sucks now, they're not as creative as they were 15 years ago because all of their talent quit since Capcom became a "black company" (overworking their employees with no compensation).

Same here, keep forgetting the feature exists.

Walking and shooting would be awsome if its done right.

personally, I always felt it was missing. I mean, I love REmake, its the best. I love how the character walks with the weapon ready, and I think you should be able to stammer backwards with the gun raised and fire.

I dont mean side-to side full movement, but I always thought that you should be able slowly retreat from a zombie absorbing your rounds, from a charging hunter as you blast walking backwards with the shotgun.

I hated how you raised the gun then you dropped it to the side and walk backwards in shock, instead of keeping your gun raised and firing going backwards, then you could quick turn and run through a door. More realistic to the situation IMO.

I'm looking forward to playing the demo again when I finish work tonight, I guess that's the main thing.

Played all 3 campaigns now. So review part 2.

Chris' section of the game is straight action, doesn't feel like Resi at all, and the cover mechanics are a little to clunky to be a great action-er, it may just take getting used to. But is annoying since some sections are too chaotic.

Jakes' section was actually fun, the controls lend themselves the most to his campaign. His little acrobatics and boyish charm adds to it. I hated those fish enemy things though, its hard to tell when you've actually killed them.

overall its a 7/10. There seems to be a missing "je ne se qua" from this game. All sections could have improved enemies. The feeling of satisfaction from killing enemies in resi 4 is gone. Also gone is the context sensitive finishers like shooting an enemy in the leg to do a suplex. It been replaced with it randomly popping up when the enemy is weakened. No more shoot him in the leg and he falls??? Also in general the controls still feel alittle clunky as its halfway between modern controls and Resi controls.
Improvements can be made to Leons section by upping the scares ala DeadSpace or even Resi4. And making the enemies harder to kill and mostly unaffected by bullets (they are zombies after all)

On the positive the story looks more interesting, the acting, cinematography, characters and graphics look great (despite what others are saying). And the game allows some amount of customisation.
