Played the demo. I liked Jake's and Leon's scenarios better, Chris' is just too chaotic!!! Even Jake's game play is very action, oh I hate those fish things. I'm still getting used to the controls. Glad I played the demo cause those controls are going to kill me! LOL
 
Played the PS3 demo. PS3 controller is much better suited for this game than the 360 controller. I cancelled my 360 pre-order for the PS3 one.
 
I played as Jake & Sherry again before. Purely to suss out Sherrys 2nd outfit.
 
One pet peeve I have with the newer games (Revelations and RE6) is the damn BOWs with chainsaws. Chainsaws are a complex, man-made machine, it makes no sense for organic creatures to have such a thing for an arm.

The scarf is literally the only thing that stays the same.

Didn't notice that much, but I'm guarantee HT will go with the promo looks :monkey1
 
Hopefully they show somthing soon. i want some RE6 merch like right now. Even square hasnt come up with a thing nor has neca everyones focusing on the avengers and batman. Anyway I feel as tho that bone chainsaw guy is gonna be a ***** to kill.
 
Walking and shooting would be awsome if its done right.

personally, I always felt it was missing. I mean, I love REmake, its the best. I love how the character walks with the weapon ready, and I think you should be able to stammer backwards with the gun raised and fire.

I dont mean side-to side full movement, but I always thought that you should be able slowly retreat from a zombie absorbing your rounds, from a charging hunter as you blast walking backwards with the shotgun.

I hated how you raised the gun then you dropped it to the side and walk backwards in shock, instead of keeping your gun raised and firing going backwards, then you could quick turn and run through a door. More realistic to the situation IMO.
That's still in the game, in a way, at least in Leon's scenario. Whenever something pops out at you, the character is forced into a gut reaction animation for a few seconds. So, for instance, when a zombie in a chair suddenly comes to life, Leon or Helena will react in fear, depending on which one triggered the zombie.

Another thing that affects the character is thunder and lightning. I'm not sure those features have been added in Chris and Jake's scenarios, but I understand why they are in Leon's, as that's the one that tries to merge the old with the new.
 
Just played Leon and Chris' campaigns again. I enjoyed them a lot more, especially Chris' as I am more used to the cover controls. I must admit I like Chris' campaign. If Leon has the classic style, there's room for a more action style :) No point having every character use the same style campaign.

I'm sure i'll love this game like I did RE4&5!

I need a HT Leon and Chris combo on my shelf!

I hope HT treat RE6 the same way they did RE5!
