The more I play the demo, the more I'm liking some of the design choices Capcom has made. For instance, you aren't forced to use all of the action elements that were implemented into the game. They help you dispatch or evade enemies, but aren't necessarily required. What's more, I'm liking that features, such as sliding under objects, effectively, are manual applications, instead of automatic maneuvers.

The story seems like it will be decent enough too. It's at least on par with RE5, given that there are quite a few known characters thrown in this one, thus far.

Same. Im really getting pumpd up for this now. I thought I may have waited awhile to pick it up, but after playing the demo, Itll be a day one purchase for me now.

I really enjoyed all three campaigns, I can't wait to get the game. It's going to be hard to play through all the previous games before this. The graphics are superb imo.

Not really, nothing beats the classics, not even its new self.

I don't mean in that regard, I mean it's going to be hard to play the others first b/c I want to know what happens in RE6 now not later. Plus it's that whole "new game", so it's going to be hard to wait since I want to play it now, lol. RE1 is my favorite, hands down though. If only just for Chris. My main disappointment with RE6 is Chris' appearance, it doesn't even look like him anymore. At least in RE5 you could still tell it was Chris. If I didn't know RE6 Chris was Chris, I wouldn't believe it was him. :( Still, I don't play games just b/c of how a character looks, and Leon is looking pretty bad ass.

I was looking at one of my toys before and something struck me. Chris in Code Veronica. And how he was wearing a new RPD S.T.A.R.S. Outfit despite the town being long nuked! So i started to think it felt out of place. But i assume he is logically wearing it because they are still practical items of clothing to wear in his rescue mission and he must of went back to the RPD station before the events of re 2-3 to pick up and extra set.

The reason i say this is i want to see CV RPD outfit as one of Chris's alt outfits in this game

His CV outfit is a prototype outfit that STARS never used. I guess he had a spare for whatever reason and was lacking in tactical gear being on the run/hiding and all. Maybe he left his RE1 gear back at home as it got nuked with the city?

Though could you imagine if all the other members had their signature colors for their shirts and pants (CV outfit)? That'd be ridiculous :lol

How long was the events between the nuke and Code Veronica though? He must of stunk if he had of been wearing the CV outfit since he left Racoon city!

Im about to buy Resi 2 off PSN. Never played it before except the demo which scared me too much as a kid.
Ill give you guys my unbiased opinion soon!

your gonna be loving it. And ****ting your pants. I look forward to your views!

No I mean he had normal clothes as evidenced in his epilogue in RE3, but that was probably the only tactical gear he had for whatever reason. I wouldn't doubt him burning his RE1 outfit due to having contaminated zombie blood all over it :yess:

Code Veronica is almost 3 months after the nuke. Nuke hit Raccoon City on October 1st, Code Veronica begins (jail cell) December 27th.

Yes! If you want the canon story, play Claire first, beat her game, then when you save you'll play Leon Scenario B. Leon A and Claire B isn't the canon story, but you should play that one afterwards just to see the differences and while you're at it, try to unlock HUNK since you'll know the puzzles :)

Yeah. You'll be scared and you'll love it.

Especially

the part where the Licker bursts through the glass in the interrogation room.

Gets me every time.

This has got me thinking, and I hope it's not too OT to ask, but I have a question about RE0 & RE1 for Wii. I just got both recently, and I found playing RE1 with the Wii controller frustrating. Is it any better with the Gamecube controller? I have one on the way, but wasn't sure if it would make a difference. I needed the GC controller anyway to play classic games but figured it would be better for RE.

i was alot more comfortable using the GC controller than any other controller for any other RE game. hate the wii one!

YEs use the Gamecube controller. These are some of the best games they put out on the Gamecube. I love the remake and zero is great fun as well.

Considering it was originally made for the GC, of course! I always use the GC controller for those two. I hear the Wii controls for both of those games are unanimously terrible.
