Amended. But seriously, its been said like 30 times in this thread alone!

Now is the exact time you shouldnt be coming into threads when everybody is finding out this stuff and wanting to talk about it! And anyway the 4th campaign isnt a spoiler. it was told before the game even came out you had to do the campaign you just had to unlock it.

Its nothing you need to worry about ruining your gaming experience. It was always coming from the get go, you just had to work to unlock it! Unless you didnt even know that character as in the game! in which case, sorry! :p

Finished Chris's First Chapter, and it was ... a shootem up Chapter, my finger was trigger happy

Guess im the only one who found chri's campiagn to be extremly sad during the end.

Probably.. I'm still four chapters away from that. Though given what you just said.. I think I know what happens now. :(

I'd really like to see a figure of the main bad guy in Leon's campaign.

I can't imagine playing Leon's campaign on anything but easy, lol. It's got to be impossible on the hardest difficulty.

Once you have collected the Assault Rifle and Shot Gun, it makes things a lot easier.

Scenarios in order, to follow easiest

Chris, Jake, Leon (then obviously the one we all knew was in the game before it was even released)

Is that also in order with the story / time line?

I started with Leon cause of the Prologue, so I figured I'd finish it off.

Just finished Chris' scenario and now starting on Jakes.

The chapters on this game are long (well Leon's anyway)

Finished chapter one yesterday and chapter two today. Chap three tomorrow. :lol

Finally beat all campaigns.
including Ada's.
I won't say too much since I know there are still quite a few people who have yet to beat the game. Leon's campaign was great and my favorite of them all. Had a very old school RE feel to it in some parts. Chris' campaign was ok but Chris really annoyed me in this one. I actually liked Leon quite a bit better in this game (and normally I'm a bigger Chris fan). Jake's campaign was fun. I enjoyed using malee attacks with him.
It was especially satisfying beating that Nemesis like creature fist to fist. He also has the best post credit scene. I think ol' Al's fondness for shades is genetic. Ada's campaign has me feeling mixed. It was fun but the story left me really confused. I'm gonna have to replay it again and unlock all the files.

Anyways this game definitely isn't my favorite in the series. The controls are awkward at times and I found myself getting killed more often because of annoying quick time sequences than anything else. Also other than the zombies, most of the creatures were a bit of a letdown. While the game didn't exceed or even meet my expectations, negatives aside, it is a fun game overall and the story while not the greatest in the series, is intriguing and makes it hard to put the controller down.

Just finished myself.

Enjoyed all of the campaigns. Chris' story line was my favorite.
Those last few chapters had me worried for his safety. and I was sad to see Piers go. I liked him going into the game. His final moments were well done. Glad Chris didn't quit...phew!

Simmons and Carla, as villains, needed to be developed better. You didn't really get a sense of their motives. They say why they're doing the things they're doing....but you're still kind of like...wtf?...

Jake was awesome though. I really liked his character. Every time they mentioned Wesker in this I smiled a little....and then cried lol. Loved when Jake put on the sunglasses at the end!.

FrickinAda's ending cutscene ugh! I was soooo ready for Wesker to emerge from the last cocoon before she shot it all to hell...dammit!

Gameplay was awesome. The only thing I got a little tired of, was how every character had one of those segments where you have to find three passcodes or keys, while monsters are following you...by the 4th time I was kind of over it.

All in all a great game. And every final boss for each campaign was really fun to fight. Fantastic battles.

Indeed on Simmons and Carla. Both could have been developed much better. Jake was pretty cool and yes the sunglasses in his post credit scene was great. I still hope ol' Al somehow survived RE5 and will make an appearance in a future game with Jake. Speaking of the Wesker's I was a bit disappointed there was no mention of Alex Wesker. I get the feeling Jake isn't the Alex Wesker mentioned in LIN so I hope he plays some role in future games. Yeah seeing Pivens go was kind of a bummer. I actually like him better than Chris in this game. Infact other than Helena, Chris was my least favorite of the main playable protagonists in this game.

I didn't care as much for the final boss fights in this one. The only one I liked was Ustanak in Jake's campaign. I do agree the finding 3 passcodes got annoying especially when those creatures that break apart start swarming you but the most annoying part for me were the constant quick time events. Still while not perfect, the game was fun and I do feel I got my money's worth.

I liked how the final bosses just kept going. You think they're dead and BAM they're back. More so than usual for an RE game :lol

I just found the battles very fun especially when you had to use the lightning rod on Simmons (who's final form design I thought was kind of lame...A Giant fly? stoooopid) Chris' final boss was my favorite, design wise and yes...Ustanak was really cool, especially with that brawl.

Yeah, no mention of Alex Wesker was a big disappointment for me. It seems like he'll become another abandoned plot point in the REverse...

However, Sherry having regenerative powers made me happy. It finally gave some confirmation to what Wesker said waaaaay back in his report.

I'd say gameplay wise, definitely walked away satisfied. The stories overall contribution to series canon though? That left me disappointed. Oh well. I enjoyed it.

Pretty much. Chris and Jakes scenarios both take place before, during and after Leons and are pretty much a ying-yang story. Where as Leon is more of a stand alone but with alot more mixed with the 4th campaign. In " extras " (i think it is) you can go to a cut scene viewer and it has the 4 timelines side by side with the cut scenes and you can see what order it all comes in

Just finished Jake's campaign with a buddy. I don't give two craps about what anyone says, that was an awesome campaign! Next up is Chris then finally Leon and Ada.

I finished Leon's campaign, I just wish it stayed with the "zombies" of the first chapter. I'm in the middle of Chris's 2nd chapter... I really don't like it and not because I despise Chris.

His is way too action based...

J'avo using guns... ughh brings up bad memories of RE5.

Just curious since critics are being pretty hard on this one: is it mostly action with just a little horror sprinkled in? While I've never been the biggest fan, I recognize this has been an iconic series for a reason.

There is some quiet bits with no enemies at all. There is fairly quiet bits with a few baddies here and there. Then there is all out gun battles or hordes of zombie attacks where its very loud and action packed. But there is also a stealth element to the game when it comes to J'avo as you can sneak kill them from behind and it doesnt alert the others. You can do it now and then with zombies but very rarely. Its easily the most action packed RE by far.
