Can't argue, every character's outfits aren't very iconic or unique in RE6. At least everyone keeps their signature colors?

Well I already greatly prefer RE6 and RE4 to RE5. I played the first chapter as Chris, on normal, and it was a PITA. Not looking forward to the rest of the game. I'm definitely not using the move controller anymore for it either, lol. I already greatly prefer the set up in RE6, it really does have great gameplay and a super friendly interface. I guess you'd call it that. Not sure, lol. I really, really, don't get the hate. It's not bland at all imo. Sorry some people can't get into it, but I love it. My only complaint is a I think it could have been much longer.

We love it, we're talking about the outfits, or at least I was.

I don't think they were necessarily bland outfits, but maybe the increased level of realism has detracted from them somewhat. Then again, you have Leon who "has" to have a jacket now, and Chris who has to as current military as possible, which I think is part of the problem. I think Sherry and Jake looked great. Hel.. w/e her name is, lol, was far too hip, and Piers, well, same problem as Chris. I think the game is pushing to be more real than it needs to be maybe, but overall I didn't feel like it detracted from my experience.

It's like when you're playing RE4, Leon is awesome at first, then he loses his jacket.. lol, and his look goes down a notch. Still cool, but a little less. But then you play as RPD Leon and it's like :yess:!! So better outfits could have made a difference, but I didn't really give it much thought. I'm kind of apologetic when I'm a hardcore fanboy about something I guess.. :monkey3

Im starting to think Sheva's AI is superior to Re6's.

The only time i NEED the AI in re 6 is when im

1) Needing to open a door
2) Dying
3) Needing cover

And in the level i just played there (Chris campaign level 4) and the AI failed to do any of thoes for me in a timely manor. Id be dying and the AI would be near me but prioritise fighting the J'avo over me both dying and wanting to open a door. I also had to stop my demolition on the ship deck to kill the guys who were sniping me when it was meant to be the AI's job. Sheva would of done all thoes things for me in re5.

I swear they have just give the partner character unlimited ammo and health to mask the fact the AI has gotten worse.

I gotta say RE6 AI is better :)

The more I played RE5, the more I realised Sheva's AI was stupid.

You'd aim for the enemy and she would either stand in front of you or directly behind you and would fire through you :slap

RE6 is a good step up.

It was intresting that Leon's shirt was blue and Helena's vest was red, Jake's and Sherry's outfits are great both Edonia/China outfits
And capcom finally gave the BSAA a good look, the arm pads kinda remind me of Leon/Kevin RPD uniform

Can't take the Ustanak out of my head :panic:

I NEED a 1/6 Ustanak

I noticed that too.

I think Capcom wanted to hint in Claire Redfield and bring in the RE2 theme.

I don't think the outfits in RE6 are terrible but they do lack that "RE aesthetic" if that makes sense.

Tbh though I get more disappointed in the creature designs with each game as of late moreso than the main characters. RE4 had some pretty cool and memorable enemy/monster designs like the the Regenerators, Garradors, Verdugo and even Dr. Salvador and the Bella Sisters but in RE5, other than the Lickers, Chainsaw and Executioner Majinis, the designs for the creatures were lacking abit imo. Even mutated Wesker was a bit "underwhelming" for lack of a better word imo. Other than the zombies and Ustanak, I found the creature designs in RE6 to be pretty underwhelming as well and of course zombies are pretty simple and even Ustanak could have been designed a little better imo or at least his face could have (at the very least I think he would have looked alot cooler without the emo hair lol).

I prefer RE5 to RE6. I know, sacrilidge. AI for sheva is horrible and RE6's human AI is yonks better.

But the enemy AI in RE6 I think is dumber than in RE5, much much dumber. Chris' campaign is riddled with utterly retarded shooters who cant actually shoot at all and just watch you. You can outrun gunfire by going a little bit to the left or right. Them zombies are as bad as the ones from RE Outbreak as well. The boss fights were so stupid boring as well. point shoot keep shooting. Oh youve killed it, wait, he's mutating *cue cinematic over dramatic cut scene* then rinse and repeat, oh hes dead! *cue cinematic over dramatic cut scene again* rinse and repeat.

There wasno crescendo in the boss fights. It was just keep shooting, keep shooting QTE, shoot shoot QTE, shoot shoot QTE, shoot shoot QTE. There was no sense of dread, no sense of 'im gonna die here if I dont get my act together' and there was just no reward to it.

Ada Leaving the rocket launcher, it was such a lame ending to leons. It was just left at the side, aim, shoot and was totally un satisfying. It wasnt even homage to RE4 or RE2. It was just utterly piss poor.

The game was also REAL linear and full of QTE's. Just about every attack from an enemy you could QTE counter. Melee was the best way to fight through all the campaigns. I found myself running into gunfire and not getting hit then melee combat everyone. Why? 3 melee hits and you kill an enemy. 3 bullets and theyre just laughing. Crazy.

While the outfits in this game arent iconic looking. I dont think you can have an "iconic" look 15 years into a franchise thats had 200 outfits. Fortunately RE nailed some awesome looks in the beginning and we got some great designs. But by no means in general do i dislike this games clothes design. Well,

i think China Leon is his best look of all time. Though his tall oaks is a bit boring and generic. Helena China is pretty nice, id actually buy a HT of it all though her tall oaks is bland. Ada & Carla's looks are both etched in my mind as a look i like. Not as "iconic" as we could of hoped for but i really dig it. Sherry & Jakes Edonia looks are awesome. I really like Sherrys China look too but Jakes is the most bland of the game IMO.Chris and Piers, so so generic. Would make excellent HT's though.

I do also like the designs on the big fat zombies, blootshots, shriekers, fog spreader and the chainsaw thing. One massive downside is that nothing has a name you can remember anymore. Its like they leaned on the keyboard when giving them a name. Ustanak is awesome! Gimme a HT. Nice chromed arms.

Yes the designs in this game are awesome which is why I find it awkward we don't have freaking figs yet.

Then again you're talking about the same company which teased a batman figure from arkham city that hasn't been released yet .
Imo starting to think we wont get figures from hot toys.

Their track record for For video games have been ****ty lately ,
Mgs we waited almost a year to see a sneak and they aren't must buys at all and now the batman fiasco .

Well now that they have Avengers and TDKR out of the damn way (even though I'm buying all of those :lol), they can start churning out other stuff soon finally.

I'm surprised HT hasn't said anything about this license yet... the RE5 line was a hit for them, they'd be dumb to not tackle at least 3-4 characters from this one (considering two are sure sellers anyway -- Leon and Chris)

You don't like the Joker?

Love him but its 2012 and we have like hundreds of different figures of him already. All this better sculpt crap and movie accurate socks should of been done when the along time ago. bank robber joker was fine along with the first DX. Now Square enix is pulling a HT and making joker aswell. Somthing that should of been done years ago when the hype was at its peak. I dont know I just hate that Nolan batman is the top priority for toys.
