This. The last 2 games ive literally bought was Tekken Tag 2 then this. Tekken tag 2 feels like an incomplete Tekken 6. Theres a severe lack of game modes in TT2. It is a really fun game but its not worth buying until it comes down to about 1/3 of its original price.

There isnt any memorable BGM or new characters. It feels just like Tekken 6. So i wouldnt spring on it until its on the cheap.

Having said that. If you have never had tekken 6, skip Re6 & Tekken Tag 2 and get Tekken 6 its a pretty flawless game.

Wow, the reason i never got Tekken 6 was because of all the apparent problems. For one I heard the loading was slow, which i absolutely can't stand in a fighting game, i want that **** to be instant!

i thought tekken tag had more stuff. like 20 more characters each with a story mode plus all the standard extras you get with tekken? what stuff is missing?

back on Resi 6 do you guys recommend buying this now or wait a few months to get in the cheap?

I am a major Tekken fan. Ive even got an armor king tattoo! Tekken 6 is probably my favorite tekken of all and im not new to the game given i started off with Tekken 1 in the arcade! Id point you in the direction of getting Tekken 6 over tekken tag 2 every day of the week. Its a much more satisfying and better game.

With tekken tag 2 there is alot of characters but not a significant amount more than t6. Theres no story mode, barely any extra modes. its essentially arcade mode, ghost, survival and time attack&team battle. Tekken 6 has the actual scenario where you do levels and such which is awesome (albeit hard). The customize pieces in tt2 are also lame as hell every character gets just about the same set of stuff to unlock. And they all end up looking like the same character because for some reason all the things you can buy make you look like a power ranger.

Theres only 1 gripe with Tekken 6 that i have and its that the final boss in Arcade (Azazel) seems overpowered. But its kind of like Jinpachi you just come to accept it. And kick his ass. I wouldnt be put off by loading times at all its a great game. If memory serves me right the time between battles is maybe about... 6 second wait? the amount of time it takes for it to say " get ready for the next battle!"

I was actually out to buy Tekken Tag 2 but saw RE6 was released and went straight for RE6.

I am a huge Tekken fan too, but after Tekken 6 and Street Fighter X Tekken was released, they kinda went a bit the same.

Finished the Leon campaign tonight and liked it a lot. It's a great coop-action game. The everlasting end boss was a bit annoying, but the rest was great. Can't agree with the bad metacritic rating.

Im starting to think Sheva's AI is superior to Re6's.

The only time i NEED the AI in re 6 is when im

1) Needing to open a door
2) Dying
3) Needing cover

And in the level i just played there (Chris campaign level 4) and the AI failed to do any of thoes for me in a timely manor. Id be dying and the AI would be near me but prioritise fighting the J'avo over me both dying and wanting to open a door. I also had to stop my demolition on the ship deck to kill the guys who were sniping me when it was meant to be the AI's job. Sheva would of done all thoes things for me in re5.

I swear they have just give the partner character unlimited ammo and health to mask the fact the AI has gotten worse.

Thats exactly it though. They are kicking ass, on their own. When you actually need them you cant depend on them. 90% of the time Sheva would free you if you are being grabbed by a Majini or rescue you if you are in a dying state. She would come running no matter what. Theres a less than 50% chance of that happening in this game. Im sick of trying to defend myself while dying surrounded by baddies and watching the AI doing a string of melee attacks on baddies 30yards away.

Never had a problem with AI in RE6. As long as you press Circle/B when you need help they arrive much quicker to help you in RE6.

I never had any reason to complain about it aswell, RE6 IA works perfect to me, so perfect that I feel pity for the others that complain about those retard moments they supposedly have

I even thought they can't die, but other people told me they can die so

Unlike Sheva... smart as a mosquito, in the last 3 years I've been playing RE5 I only died because of her retardness

I'm about to finish Jake's campaign playing as Sherry on veteran, I love Jake's IA

Im Piers, AI is chris we were running/climbing away from the newborn. The Newborn hits me and sends me into a dying state the same time as it hits the AI. The AI gets back up and runs off into the sunset even though i was clearly dying. The AI does have major flaws. If the AI had of saved me we could of still made it.

Sold off my re6. No regrets. May pick it up again when capcom drops a " gold version".

The online play was good. But tbh it wasnt tekken 6 good. I find tekken 6 connected a heap faster. When you are waiting to connect to an oponent on tt2 you are in "limbo" fighting mokujin until you get an accept or decline offer. i sometimes was in there for 10 minutes :-/

Tekken tag 2 is a great game. id just rather go back and play t6 after ive seen all the endings tt2 has to offer

Seriously the lack of any RE6 figures from any company thus far is truly baffling. I really hope NECA or HT or someone announce some RE6 figures soon.

Edit: I read on Twitter that NECA's license for RE is expiring by the end of the year and it doesn't look like they'll be renewing it. There goes my hopes of seeing any of the monsters from the game in plastic since I know HT won't make any

Well that never happened to me, and I played a lot like 44 hours by now

Seriously, Jake, Sherry and Ustanak are my biggest wants from RE6, even more so than Leon. I'm very disappointed it appears NECA will not be renewing the RE license since they are the only ones I could see actually making any of the creatures from the game

Actually, far better than t6. Read up on the reviews. But t6 had more extras.

I can't blame Neca, nor HT, such a bland game for the series. HT should do Ada from either 4 or 2.
