Don't get me wrong, there is a lot to like about RE5 and RE6, but I think we can all admit there is a bit too much "phoning it in". The whole time with Simmons I was just like "WTF! First he's a four legged animal type creature, then a dinosaur, now a fly!?". It was just b/s! That is just nonsensical. I like the idea of a more intelligent virus, that is what you want in a BOW anyway, but I think it was too far fetched. You don't want a virus that doesn't affect the mind at all, like the C-Virus seemed to do with certain subjects. You want one that makes the victim controllable, yet still intelligent enough to fully useable for military application. I think RE6 was half-assed and unfinished. BUT! I still like it and enjoy it, I just won't deny it has flaws. I have little interest in replaying, whereas with older RE games I enjoy replaying them a lot. The thing for me with RE6 is that yes, I do like it, but it just doesn't seem like RE much. It does seem more sci-fi than horror. Why can't you have scares and action? RE6 as just a game, with nothing else to compare it to, taken at face value is a great game, good story, etc, but it comes up short as a RE game. Y'know what I mean? lol.
