The game was rushed and over hyped. Take your time Capcom! :lecture

As for Leon campaign, just got lame... PLEASE, PLEASE Capcom enough with the tombs and temples! Leave that for Uncharted and Tomb Raider.

I have the feeling there is a lot of

"wtf are we going to do"

inside capcom, that why things get weird.. dinosaurs, giang bugs

lets hope next time we don't fight a giant rabbit or something

did you see the Ign video with the writer and producer they were going to kill Chris and there were plans to bring Wesker back.

Yeah Krec9... I saw that, it was... amusing lol

back to what I was saying, I mean..

Why take this out of RE5? how could they.. I still think most of the RE6 good stuff is recylced

Both of them are running on the same formula as RE4. Above ground area first half, underground middle, above ground again and you completely change the setting (RE4 island, RE5 tanker, RE6 oil rig)

I know some of you quoted me, and let me just say, I agree with your replies. I think Capcom feels the need to over complicate RE. When I first went back and played RE1 after many years away I was really frustrated. The controls are challenging and not user friendly. But I like that, I like that it adds to the game and to the challenge. The controls aren't bad, they're great really. However, that's not how I want to play every RE game. I much prefer modern controls and playing styles. I like the actual game play aspect of modern RE. I just think Capcom needs to stop and readdress what it is doing with RE. Scale things back, focus more on who you characters actually are, what your story is OVERALL, and don't be afraid to make a major part of the game take place in one building or area.

Also, very nice drawing Snake Plissken. You're too hard on yourself man.

RE needs to return to roots, you can never go wrong. And thanks man, I'm just very OCD.

I don't think it would hurt RE to get back into horror, zombies, and a smaller scale world. Capcom seems to have a poor idea of what doesn't work in RE and what does. They can keep the horror and still sell a ton of games. I'm sick of people going "you don't know what you're talking about, that won't work, blah blah blah". Just b/c Capcom does it, doesn't mean it is a great idea, and just b/c they don't do doesn't mean it wouldn't be successful.

No problem, I know what you mean. The best thing I can say is practice and anatomy. I went to school for art and it's been years since I've done much, and all I know is that doing it over and over again will bring the skills back. For being rusty I think you did a superb job.

THIS

I know all of you already saw this

Still can't find a good reason to take this out of a game

That's awesome. Again, Capcom is nuts.

You can just watch all the interviews... in RE6 they did what they were going for so.. it was a success, for them

It doesn't mean its what we all want, I dunno.. I just want mistery back, going to weird places, face enemies that actually make me run
I don't want a Immortal IA helping me all the time, J'avo/plagas like enemies or zombies with guns (WTF)

Anyway I think capcom is adapting well.. survival horror as we know it may be officially dead

Oh and Science Fiction, I agree with this

'''I think RE6 was half-assed and unfinished'''

I think that happens when developers try to put so much different content in a game, everything ends up feeling at a 50% of what could be .. but they made a really good job anyway, other developers can barely make half of what RE6 is

:lecture:goodpost::exactly: I would have no problem if RE kept the current over-the-shoulder camera but I 100% agree, Capcom really needs to scale back a bit an concentrate on better character development and story.

Its from RE5 :lecture

Really? Wow thats sad but looks like they took that and carried it to RE6 tho. What I really want to see is a RE game in a known city like new york or in a forrest and your on the run from zombies or crazy type people, not Ganado type crazy but bioshock type crazy but they still eat human flesh. I want a RE game like that. No castles no milatary just a lone protagonist fighting agaist a horde of monsters and zombies that you cant take out with a few weapons. You must also use smarts and hide for the time being. i also want an alexia type story again, sadly the introduction of jake seems like he can withstand anything so Throw Claire or Jill in the new game and make this game absolutly horrifying. I dont care about tank or over the shoulder controls, trust me if you make a game scary enough people will buy it.
