The in-game video we have seen of Jake Chris and Leon do not really have me interested in them. They dont make me think - damn, i wish it was me playing! But the trailers make me want to play purely for the story.

The cutscenes do look amazingly hollywood but this game does look way too RE5 too be good(maybe worse). Too many QTEs and frankly bland looking enemy AIs :(

I eally hope im wrong, if not they should just emulate RE4, they obviously didn't do it well enough in RE5

complain complain. that gamplay was great, the atmosphere was creepy, the music and groans were on point and the piano playing was just awesome. they need to work on the graphic and tighten up the controls.

Jesus, its almost like you don't do that in the movie thread with every nugget of new information that comes up.

The demo was 15 minutes of being forced to follow a guy around and not being able to stray from a path and explore on your own (a guy, and girl that ended up having NOTHING to do with the story other than to rush you through the building), the music is the music we have had in the trailers for months so nothing took us by surprise there, the chandelier randomly fell off the ceiling for a cheap jump ( was it infected with the C-virus?), the piano was straight out of lost in nightmares, the Zombies no sold the bullets and leon jumping around like Neo from the matrix in contrast to the Zombies being stationary looked incredibly awkward.

The only things i dug was a cheap pop for a Racoon City mention, and that the main hall of the place looked like a Castle setting from RE4.

W Maybe you will find somthing you like during leons mission's since that wasnt even the half of it. I do understand why your skeptical aswell, the game looks good and i'll buy it but the controls look so loose.:dunno

I've got the game pre-ordered from 2 different places. One i normally use and one ive been told to use because they claim its quicker. I want the game as soon as possible and as soon as i get it ill be on it. I am really looking forward to it. Im just not as enthused as i would be about it because of what we have seen. I've far from discounted it.

I just really dislike games where they give you beautiful settings but you are forced through them Which looks to be the cases with this Demo, and in a really over the top fashion Jake. Chri's scenario looks like you will not be able to take time to even look at anything due to the action.

i agree i liked it it felt like old resident evil maybe just leons campaign .

Meh, I agree with Bakurenoh. I want to explore the surroundings not just rush to point A to B. Hopefully it's just the beginning of the game teaching the control. I still haven't preorder the game, yet...
