True. If we get situations where even if we backtrack there will be something new to do or a change in the environments then it'll make the running around worth it in the end.

But this stupid generation doesn't understand the value in backtracking. To me, it's the hallmark of survival games. RE4 onward had none of that.

I'm still undecided with it. Like I said, it will be a great game probably... but it doesn't belong under this franchise.

I still feel they won't do it, even though it would look more realistic that way.

With pre-rendered, the whole polygon budget goes into the characters and monsters and would look superb since the backgrounds don't take away from it in resources.

Lol can you blame me . After I got so hyped for six and thinking it was going back to the old days I blinded myself with hype merely because it was a numbered re title. Now I know better. Yea this game looks "interesting" but I have to see a bit more to be convinced.

I feel like this is everyone with RE6...Revelations 1 and 2 are considered ok game, but they're not main games. Revelations 1 gets criticism these days since it's console ports though, because the game was made for a handheld's limitations/ideas and it really shows.

I wanna say the reverse applies, that the CoD crowd RE has loves it since it's a main title or something, where they feel no main numbered entry can be bad

I own 1-4, Outbreak 1, 2 & CV, & was thinking of getting 'Dead Aim' .. but probably not now.

I think these guys shot their wad & the well is definitively dry as of this moment.

If you want the best the series has to offer it's RE1-3 and REmake.

Amen. I don't own REmake yet.. but I have been watching the Gamecube version on eBay.

Maybe I'm better off hunting down that Japanese physical release that came out for PS3 a while back.

When it comes to remakes, REmake is a masterpiece. I find it dull, but it's literally dripping in atmosphere.

I always thought RE2 was the best of the series, and I really hope REmake 2 is blow for blow in the creative department that REmake did with everything having that decayed look and fixed camera angles.

I don't know about you guys, but I bought the first game back in 1997, & was smitten then & there.. so IT will always be my personal fave.

That first zombie cut scene.. ahh the memories of being totally blown away by that the first time I saw it.

Jared Leto needs to pay up some royalties.

The first game actually came out in 1996. I like RE1, but REmake is light years and beyond better.
