LOL, yeah, gotta be honest: do not get the hate..............Sure, some of the game decisions are annoying at times, but I dunno....only parts that annoyed for me: Leon's GIANT cell phone hud, and the super sexualized boss in the middle of his campaign. Found that fight a little.....distracting. Ahem

And yeah, Chris has definitely gone over the edge. At least there were no puns like, 'Wong place at the wong time, Ada!'

When i first got Re 6, i loved it. Mostly because i got it like a week before the rest of the world. Then i think because i had such a head start i started trophy hunting.

Then when i revisited it much later and i was just a guy playing the game as a game. It sucked as a Resident Evil and as a shooter. At first i thought, bad Re but good game over all. Its just crap now. Literally the only thing i liked originally, that i still like is the water texture in chapter 4 of chris's campaign.

The only thing I like is that it is not a broken, buggy mess. It's technically sound, and is a complete game. So many bad games out there are compounded by the fact they weren't finished or stable.

Otherwise, it's average at best. Leon's campaign has its moments, Jake's too (but less) though he has the benefit of really changing up how Sherry and Jake play, Chris is one of the worst things in any game and doesn't fit in with the mechanics shockingly even though they feel like they were tailored to him, if that makes any sense, and Ada's is neat for answering questions and for being solo. All of them lose for chapters that go out far too long and that aren't split up into 1-1 1-2 and so on like RE4 and 5.

I've been playing Resident Evil remaster on the PS4 after making use of that PS+ deal last month. Even though things have moved on mechanics wise and story, it's still an impressive game with a great atmosphere. Heck, I bought a GameCube just for this game and a year before that I got a PS2 just for Code Veronica X as well.

Even years after playing it, one of the most terrifying parts is when you step into the flooded aqua ring. Just the fact that you're in vulnerable position makes it worse; running through the water is like walking in the mud, and you can feel the force of Neptune below but you can't see the ****er until it's too late!

Th other day I tried killing the smaller sharks with the assault shotgun, as soon as I reloaded she jumped up and gobbled me up.

Tough crowd with RE6....It's all good - I only paid $20 so it's a good deal given the cost. And I do agree, it's a technically sound game. Very much so!

I paid $10 for RE6 (PS4) and still felt like it was a waste. Compared to RE5 which I got for $10 as well, and enjoyed that in the end to feel it was well worth it.

Man you even like those horrid Jake scenes? Just wondering. I almost threw up on my Xbox from all the cringe. Not to mention the gears of war knock off of Chris's campaign. It eh idk. Different taste.

Being a fan of Outlast and the PT demo, I am excited to see the direction RE7 is going in. I look forward to playing it.
