Im almost done with this and I like it !! its different then other RE .. but I had fun with it for what it is

I will def. pick up Evil Within 2 (hope its on sale for Black Friday) .. I did not finished the 1st one cause the camera just made me mad over time.. but they fixed this issue on that one and all I hear are praises for this game..

Played it, beat it, liked it, sold it. It's alright and certainly a step in the right direction, but god damn there's no replay value in this one.

Told you! It's got good ideas, but enemy design certainly isn't one of them. I like how it ties in with HCF from Code Veronica. But again, the enemy design is just a sideways Uroboros... Capcom cannot get out of that slime design.

Eh, it was alright. The real nightmare is the thought that I'll die of boredom on repeated playtroughs since the game isn't tense at all imo. There's a lot to love and a lot to hate and the worst part for me was the obvious VR gimmick where every human has to speak 2 inches away from your face, I HATE that. Also, the creepy little girl thing isn't creepy- it's generic horror 101.

Overall it's not bad at all, but it's also no REmake either.

It's still on the bottom rung of the series for me, even less than RE6. I haven't played RE7 nine months now I think.

so the ending was a bit meh... I think I also missed a bit the story somehow (happens when you have a little child.. have to play with low sound and subtitle you not reading all the time...).. so the old woman in the house was Eveline? Where did she came from originally ?

Playing this in vr over the course of a couple months has been one of the craziest experience I've ever had. Really really something else. By the end of the game I felt like I had gone through my own heros journey into a bad *** haha

The new DLC is out today for anyone interested. Not a Hero (finally) and End of Zoe.

I'm Somewhat excited for them both, I want to know what happened to Zoe, because that was always a poorly treated loose end, and I'm glad Capcom might be addressing it. And I'm interested to see what the heck is going on with Chris...If the way they're expanding the mythos is going to be worth a damn or just...eye rolling.
