I think someone on this forum mentioned about Phicen having difficulties filing a patent, as more an more companies are copying their seamless technology.

That explains why you're aiming for the S17B I guess? Although I don't have one in hand, I would certainly get this years' TBLeague over last year's Phicen. I'm definitely getting one for RE1 Jill.

Here's the new setup on my RE4 Leon. The buttpack is way smaller and more in tune with what's in the game, and his radio pouch is from the VTS Anderson figure.

Yeah the stock one is huge, then I got that other one which you got too. This is from BSAA Jill. I think the size is spot on with the game model. Slightly different design but it's negligible.

I had to paint the lining with a tooth pick since it's white and too small for a brush.

Grab the Anderson pouch too for his radio pouch. It's not 100% accurate, but pretty damn close.

I can't find a clear shot form in game, but the artwork illustrated the two pouches on what they should be and their sizes.

Hot Heart bootleg. Still very available in the $120 neighborhood. They did RPD too which I have. Kiva said the quality is really no different and the heads are actually better.

Only thing different is the RPD isn't quite as blue.

A thing to note about the RPD, is they glued very awfully the knife sheath to his shirt. I got mine off and removed most of the glue residue and put a tiny piece of metal on the bottom of it with glue and put a magnet under his shirt to hold it in place.

Yeah, I would go with the suntan TBLeague (Phicen rebranded themselves this year) since they always improve their bodies annually. Just remember that with seamless bodies, you might wanna wet the clothes when putting then on if they're too tight.

Btw, how's the construction of the costume? Does it feel cheap?

Yeah, the tan looks close. also the proportions looks the best to me as well. I didn't know about the wet clothes. Interesting. that doesn't mess with the rubber at all? My only concern would be color bleeding from the clothes

What Jameson said, and also I think there were some bootlegging issues. Bootlegs were straight up selling with the phicen logo and everything, so they rebranded as TBleague in order to disassociate with the inferior quality bootlegs.

How is the quiet body holding any issues ?

So far so good. I've had her elbows in a bent, rifle holding position almost since i got it. I unbent it and noticed a fold had formed, but the fold has since smoothed itself out and has returned to normal.

Now Leon doesn't have all that junk in the trunk. I don't know where the hell HT's head was when they made the buttpack that comes with it. You can literally stash a 1/6 head in it.

Since this is silicone and not rubber, wet clothes won't damage it at all and I've been doing it all the time for the stubborn outfits. I once had the S02A with the non-removable feet, but the custom I was working on needed boots with peg holes- I ended up cutting the feet off and drying it outside in the garden for 6 months for the lols, and aside from the gunk of dirt buildup, there was barely any fading and no cracking whatsoever- I'm impressed!

As for color bleeding from clothes, I once had to dye a tank top to put onto the body and it stained the following day. I read up somewhere that soaking the clothes in water with some detergent overnight will solve the issue- I tried it and that worked and hasn't stained even today.

Definitely getting one soon, doubly so if I could find a better head. If not, I'll just repaint it since the hair bothers me.

Nope, I've never tried any powders but my supplier said that using regular ol' talcum powder every 4-6 months or so would make the silicone more supple, just brush some on with a paintbrush. I guess I might try that some day.

How's the accessories on Jill and the tailoring of the clothes btw?

It's an exact duplicate of the HT version, so yes. You get all the accessories and stand too. You just gotta get rid of the body since it sucks. Problem is the hands use very specific wrist pegs... the ones it come with are a paint to get out and they break easily. I was able to repair them with glue and stuck them in the RE6 body.

I forget what they're called, I'll need to look it up. I bought four sets of spares just in case these completely broke.

EDIT: These are what it uses. They have specific peg "lips" on them they go deep enough that it holds the hands. Regular pegs don't work.
