Bit weird, lol.It seems Super Duck generally likes to make their figures/sculpts look "sexy", which is why they usually pick the bustier S12 body for their kits. Or something like that, thats my guess anyways. lol
Good to know, thanks. The clothing quality is pretty much the same. The SD stuff fits the larger TBL bodies better. The SW stuff works better with the smaller S25/24 bodies though, but is too tight for the larger bodies.
That's great, as it's black boots I am after. Nice little touch with the gray. The HH boots are black with a grayish dry brushing, gives them a dirty/used look.
Yeah, that and the baggy clothes let that set down IMO.The MTToys boots are pretty game accurate too, but are painted brown for some reason.
Ah right, gotcha. As for your last question, promo pics are always taken of the prototype that company has made specifically for showcasing and photos. So it'll usually be a more accurately detailed, better polished version of what we usually end up getting. But that depends on the manufacturer too of course. Some care more than others.
A proper remake for Code Veronica would be a glaring omission from the remake series of games. It's the next logical choice after 4. Capcom must know fans would lap it up. Let's hope that 'opportunity' presents itself.
I tried taking a few shots of Tyrant last night using the screen method that you shared on here some time ago. They aren't nearly as professional as yours though. One of the downsides of only having a cell phone camera to work with. lol
Ah the GameCube RE0 pic brings back memories. First RE I ever experienced. I was in love with the graphics...and Rebecca's cowgirl outfit.
You really do great work with these touch ups. I wish I was as skilled at such intricate work.Touched up the eyes and mouth on Ada. Wanted to get rid of the weird lines on her eyes.
The camera really seems to pick up the matte clear coat too. Her skin doesn't look nearly as shiny in person. lol

I imagine a lot of trial and error was necessary as you developed your own technique. You've certainly come a long way comparing both those pics. It's impressive!Thank you!
Unfortunately it wasn't always that way.

I'm slowly working my way up to full repaints. Takes a lot more time, that's for sure. And eyebrows are the worst!
The blueprint's mostly already there for touch ups.
I've definitely ruined my share of head sculpts during my time with this hobby. lol
I learned the basics from Darren Carnall's Kylo Ren tutorials. I couldn't quite get the same results that he does with a brush though (see Lara head sculpt lol), so I had to implement some ideas that are (vaguely) shown on 357Partment's Insta page and just kinda mash the different methods together until something worked for me.I imagine a lot of trial and error was necessary as you developed your own technique. I'm curious, how exactly have you learned this craft?
I did a quick lookup of both and wow, they are ridiculously talented.I learned the basics from Darren Carnall's Kylo Ren tutorials. Agree 100%. It's an art I never tire of.I always find it fascinating when someone manages to capture an actor/actress's likeness nearly 100% on a sculpt. Just blows my mind. lol
Your recent work proves you are well on your way. I look forward to seeing what you do next.I'm still a loong way off from that level of skill though.
Honestly hard to say when it first clicked. I'd have to say maybe when I started using an air brush. After that I just picked up whatever tips/tricks I found online and tried adding it to see what worked and what didn't.I did a quick lookup of both and wow, they are ridiculously talented.
I'll be having a watch of Darren's Kylo Ren vids on YT when I have more time.
So how long did it take before things clicked for you with your own style?

How many head sculpts would you say you have worked on thus far since you began?
I hope all goes well with them. I would enjoy seeing more of your work. But I am also working on three other sculpts that I'm fully repainting though. It'll depend on how the likenesses turn out on whether or not I'll be able to share them. lol
