Hello! I'm looking to make a custom Code Veronica Wesker but I have no clue where to start. I'm brand new to all this. I assume I start with a body which is the classic true-type but I have no idea where to get one. Any help or advice?

My Wesker uses a copy HT body found on eBay from the usual far east sellers. IMO any body works on a figure, it of course just depends on skin tone and shoulder width; height is easily sorted. You'll want something tall and wide for Wesker I think.

Wesker is a notoriously difficult figure to make due to lack of bits released over the years; we've had plenty of Chris', Leons, Jills etc but not Wesker with exception to the two released in Hot Toys' RE5 range. You may be able to find a preowned example in a loose or damaged condition, as can be done rather easily with Sheva and Jill it seems.

Some ten years ago now a number of third parties made Wesker's head. I think CIAN and Headplay? I've owned the CIAN ever since and I got his STARS outfit from a very spooky - but very reliable with rapid delivery - eBay listing a few years back. Such things have dried up though. It's been a while now since any Wesker stuff so I'm hoping for a third party to fill that gap very soon. Keep searching on eBay and the like: you'll always find a bargain or something perfect for your needs.

His uniform in CodeVeronica is easily replicated with various generic military bits from Dragon and etc. Black boots, pants, pouches and vests are always readily available and for little money too; same can be said for his RE4 suit. Good luck finding a pair of shades that aren't just aviators or Terminator ones though.

Took delivery of my Hot Heart FD009C today. Took less than a week from China to the UK AND was dropped off on a Sunday... consider me impressed.

Should make for a nice figure and it's lovingly presented too; you can tell HH are passionate about this franchise. Something to note is mine came with a Samurai Edge instead of the advertised Glock 17? No idea if that's widespread, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Clothes look to be of the usual third party standard and will look great after some water treatment. Head sculpts are beautifully decorated, very neat, and theres a generous amount of spare hands supplied; you get six in total, a godsend for the kitbasher!

I'd share photos but you'll have to wait: it's been put aside so St Nick can gift wrap it for me...

I really like mine. I think it's definitely one of the more accurate Jill sculpts on the market for now.
*edit* Took another look and you're right, it looks like the Samurai Edge wasn't even advertised in the main promo photos.

I thought it looked familiar.
Actually wasn't that long ago when I was scouring the web in search of a head sculpt and clothing for a similar project.
I'm not good at sewing/designing clothes at all though, and Fiona's is very complex, so I decided to move on to another project instead. lol
But good luck on your custom, I look forward to seeing the final results!

Man they really do, don't they? It's starting to get a little crazy already. While I prefer the game model, Capcom did a full face scan of her model (Sasha) and even they couldn't get it right. lol Got me a little worried about Damtoys Jill...

Seems like it… lol I saw everything but the rail gun on eBay. The only thing I was planning on buying from this figure. Everything looks cheap, even the base looks “custom”. Idk why daftoys was charging almost $200 for this figure. Lol

It's definitely an odd release from Daft. Their Batman line actually looks really decent, and somewhat detailed.
With Jill it looks like they just gave up halfway through or something.
