All of the damtoys heads seem to slip off easily for meDam Ada arrived today, haven't opened her yet and kinda hesitant to do so.
they all definitely do, but they all seem to have a little friction at least. Adas is the worst, its extremely loose, and when I press down it bounces back up (very weird and I don't even know how to explain it).All of the damtoys heads seem to slip off easily for me
Giantoy has the full kit up. They are sold out of the kit without the body though. Never heard of crabfigure.Anybody know if crabfigure.com is legit? Want to preorder byart Ada and I can't seem to find it anywhere else.
Just checked and you're right, turns out mine is the rolling eye's version after all - even though it's marked otherwise on the box.I ordered from Giantoy and received the rolling eyeballs version. Both check mark boxes on the outside of the box were blank for mine. But the head sculpt does split in two to be able to access the rod things to move the eyes.
i prefer felt tapes than blutac. Finally got to modding Claire after putting it off for so long, and to my surprise she is PERFECT 1/6 scale at 11 inches flat, my OCD is in heaven.

It took almost no modding either, I used the stock Claire body and swapped the legs from the HT Armorer figure, with some heat they pop right on. Only issue is the ankles need blue tac, but not a big deal in the slightest.

He looks a lot better here than any other pictures I’ve seen.Hello everyone! First time posting on this thread. Been a fan of RE for a long time and was lamenting the lack of figures. Recently jumped back into 1/6 because of Gametoys and was recently introduced to 1/12 figures.
I didn't pre-order Patriot Studio's Leon 'Virus Buster' Kennedy, and actually bought him after he was released (so no pre-order bonus accessories) and..... i actually really love the figure! I know it's an unpopular opinion given that the body proportions/face/outfit are inaccurate, but for what it's worth, he's really not bad! Just sharing some photos (pardon the bad shots). Might end up getting the licker and police zombies from this line

Price wise i got him for about US$75 shipped, which is not too bad considering a Marvel Legends figure cost about US$30-38 for me here (SEA region). So this is like a souped-up Marvel Legends haha
Also, i very stupidly pre-ordered and paid off my swtoys Ada (sigh). I'll share more photos when it comes, not looking forward to it. Should have gone with MTtoys but I was new to the 1/6 scene and didnt want to hunt down a body
unless you use high quality electrical tapes the adhesive will become sticky icky after some time and the tapes come off. not an issue to tighten joints but i prefer a cleaner approach and felt tapes are cleaner. felt also provides more friction than vinyl tapes.I used to use blutac for everything but after a while it gets super runny and sticky and disgusting. And it wont work anymore.
I now use electrical tape, I just wrap it around the joint to make it thicker. Or moulding plastic depending on what I need to use it for.
That sounds like a bit of a drastic way to do that lol.Does anybody have experience with rolling up shirt sleeves on a 12 inch figure? The last time I've tried it it didn't work, required me to manually cut the sleeves and glue them on the upper arm and it frankly didn't look all that good. There another method to do this?
Thank you kind Sir!He looks a lot better here than any other pictures I’ve seen.
i know hot toys put a piece of double sided tape behind the collar of midnight weskers collar. That sounds like a bit of a drastic way to do that lol.
Just roll up the sleeve. Get a needle and a thread. Make a small stitch so it stays in place. If the fabric looks too thick to be realistic you cut part of the sleeve off to achieve the desired look. If it’s still not looking natural you can try adding a little fabric glue on the inner layer of the folds and then adding a stitch or two to keep it from unfolding or shifting.
