I agree about that version of Jill but rumours say RE3R/ Death Island model.

Also I would prefer Jill to have longer hair post RE5. I like seeing the characters actually change and evolve.

I like Sasha's version of Jill (even though it looks nothing like her), but a Julia Voth return would be pretty epic. lol
I hope they change her up a bit as well. They mention a tactical look, but I just wonder how tactical?

Either way, I'm ready for an RE9 reveal! I hope it's along the lines of RE7 in terms of horror. Pants-crapping yet highly entertaining. And traumatizing. lol

I think Jill will use the same face model and hair, I don’t think Leon will be “old” just noticeably “older” than Jill.

I think around death island they mentioned being infected slowed Jill’s aging, don’t think it’s mentioned in the movie but that’s how the justified her appearance (I really hope that’s not game canon)

Leaks I found didn’t go into detail about the outfits they just compared Leon to Damnation (interestingly not Death Island) and compared Jill to her Lost in Nightmsres outfit. I think one reporting of the outfit mentions it would be darker so maybe black combat pants with the blue shirt this time around.

The only officially confirmed detail is the next RE game is to be directed by the direct of RE7 and Revelations 1 and it will be “significant” so I think there’s a good chance they will lean into the horror for this release unlike Village

I hope Capcom ditches the whole supernatural thing, hallucinations, witches, vampires, flying dolls, etc and goes back to the basics. Evil corporations, BoW’sz plus it it doesn’t help that these characters are so overpowered now almost superheroes at this point in the series, lol. The series really needs to go back to its roots and I’m not talking about 7.

I’m a little confused by that as a reply to my post as I was mostly talking about rumours.

Well Leon was infected in RE4 and pulls off some insane stunts but then again so does everyone in RE so who knows… looking at you Chris punching boulders.

I’m just saying I specially don’t like the idea of Jill having slowed aging due to an infection. I don’t wanna see a 50 year old Chris teaming up with a 20 year old Jill.

Since it’s not actually mentioned in death island as far as I’m aware i am hoping that’s not canon and Jill appears older.

If the rumours are true it will be a continuation of RE7 and Village with the megamycete and will close the book on that chapter so maybe they will go back to basics with RE10 and a brand new cast

I also don't really want a 20-something looking Jill forevermore. I'm sure some executive is worried about an older woman PC for game sales... Someone send the dev/story team pictures of Charlize Theron. 49 and still

I agree. I like that RE covered body and sci fi horror while SH and Fatal Frame and others covered supernatural.

At least the remakes are keeping with that vein while the new spookier ones can be ignored if you don’t vibe with them.

I’m not a huge fan of the pretend it’s supernatural and then BS a scientific reasoning for all the supernatural stuff. Reason why I wasn’t fan of 7 and Village. While 7 played as an RE game it was basically a homage to all those slasher, horror movies out there plus I didn’t care for the Winter/megamycete/Mother Miranda storyline and Village was just an RE4 2.0, I couldn’t even do a second run since I found the game boring after the castle. Also, the whole stalker enemy is getting boring. From reading the leaks it seems there’s going to be another stalker type enemy.
