Inart can’t even do 5/6 figures a year without having issues.
Not right to say this. No matter 1 or 50 figures, any company bringing out a figure will have some issue if it’s mass produced. You’re telling me thousands of people around the world getting the same product 1 won’t have an issue?

Yeah an issue or two is expected. No company is perfect.
But every thread on every inart figure has multiple people with issues. I have 4 inart figures and every one of them has qc issues.
I agree that it shouldn’t matter how many figures you make, qc issues should be by and large under control. But in my personal opinion Inart absolutely doesn’t have it under control.

There’s also people with Inart figs that don’t have any issues. To me, It’s more about how the company rectifies your problem when there is a QC issue. The Deadpool ankle break is so common and a very significant QC issue, are Inart’s issues as bad as this? At least HT rectifies these issues well for their customers though. I don’t know yet how well Inart’s CS is.

Inart hasn’t rectified any of my qc issues. Always got a tip for a diy fix or they just say it’s within the norm. Many other collectors get the same answers.
Hot toys rectifies every issue on figures bought through any regular store. Full body replacements etc.. almost no questions asked. I’ve had headsculpts replaced that had slight paint defects, bodies replaced when just the suit had a defect. Inart sends pecils and says fix it yourself.😂
And again EVERY inart figure up until now has had qc issues. Every single one. That’s not a great look..
Anyway not here to convince anyone, I’m holding off on Inart for a while until they get it sorted. Still a fan of their potential, so hope they do get it sorted.

…and despite INART’s QC trouble (which makes up the minority imo), they’re still making the best looking 1/6 figures for mass production lol. That’s what I and others personally care about first and foremost.

Wow this photo here is spot on I think

If Inart made this, maybe 10 of us would get it in hand in 2029. Then another 20 of us might get it in 2030. By 2039, everyone who preordered Inart Cap should have it in hand, but the keyword is “should” lol.

This is misinformed on so many levels lol. Besides, they can’t since they don’t have Disney 1/6 licenses. But if they ever did, all I know is that it’d look better.

I've got one InArt and IMO they are a choice, not THE choice. Cap being Cap I'd just as soon have a figure with an outfit that I can actually pose and doesn't have either cheap finishing or no finishing at all; hands you can't do much with (even if they are to scale) and irregular face paint. Don't own Superman but his costume looks to me alarmingly thin, material wise. I didn't think I got value with the one InArt I own; or, I'm a lot happier value-wise with Obi who came in about the same time.

As for likenesses - HT can shine when they want to; my latest Obi is amazing - plus the sculpted hair is so well done I can't see much point in HT ever doing a rooted version. I'd probably get this except for whatever nostalgia reason, I like my original 2 pack.

Always thought Cap's V1 outfit/padding would soften over the years, but nope, still stiff as a board. :lol I might get this anyway, in time, because Cap. Doubt I'd go for an InArt version; as a company/product find them irritating for the cost. Maybe the Joker/Potter are good.:dunno

Is it really though? There are people that still haven’t gotten their Batman figure…
Yeah, there's that too. Tho wait times have been discussed before - heck, Obi took forever and so did my Ragnarok Loki - but I don't worry about an HT order showing up, or the company collapsing like Big Chief. HT could, of course, but they have been around for a while.

Omg. If they haven’t gotten their Batman yet, it’s quite simple. Either they ordered wayyyyyyy late or they ordered from somewhere that ships until very last minute (like Spec Fiction) or a combination of both.

You’re being extremely hyperbolic and egregious too because people are already receiving their Batman sets from Spec starting late November-December, so 7/8 months since it was officially released overseas, and not YEARS like you’re making it seem.

If you say so. Also you should pop in the Inart Batman thread and see all the qc issues people are complaining about. It’s not pretty.

That’s how it goes, get your facts straight. And yes, I’m aware of the QC probs. For the record, Hot Toys products also have QC issues with certain releases, sometimes on a grander scale. I personally don’t collect for what’s super durable or use that as the overarching metric to determine what’s good quality – hell, I’m someone who doesn’t mind pleather that Hot Toys uses. So, if you’re looking to “get me” with that, it won’t work, cause I primarily care about the figure design itself. In addition, I’m buying my INART figs through reliable stores, so if I had something that had bad QC, I know I’d be taken care of. ❤️

Anyway, back to Cap!

Honestly, I agree. I would rather get real leather whenever possible, but I can't bring myself to raise too much of a stink when we don't. For the price of these figures, I certainly expect a minimum shelf life, but I don't expect them to last forever.

I only bring it up cause you keep saying “back to Cap” but somehow keep bringing Inart back into the conversation. We know you like Inart, that’s great, but they’re not perfect, and they have nothing to do with this Cap, so let’s for real stick with Cap this time yeah? Ok, back to Cap.
