Regarding my latest Wesker, it wasn't until I examined Wesker's outfit from CV that I realized how overly simple it is, like a dumbed down RE4 HUNK. DC graphics made his outfit look busier than it really is. I blame all the 2-D wrinkles+shading, not to mention his oddly proportioned physique

Also realized the Palisades figure is more detailed than the in-game model and very inaccurate. Regardless, based on the parts I have I based my custom more off that design, but it's really an amalgam of the two:

They're a STARS Chris vest painted red with fabric paint.

I may try finding a Superman head loose and using it on my REmake Chris. Anyone think it will look good? Could take that bit of a fringe off and sculpt over it. I think it would look decent. I don't really like using the RE5 head on the figure!

I used the red fabric spray paint from this set:

and hand painted it on to get this:

I think Buttmunch used this one and got a similar result:

Onethousandmasks may have used this one, but I'm not sure:

Hey guys, me again. I've started on Excella and DAMN WHO KNEW THAT HAIR STYLING WAS SO DIFFICULT? T.T it's a pretty difficult hairstyle from the go, meaning on a person..but on this head it was like a nightmare, specially since it was my first time. I thought first of tying it up in a high ponytail and then sowing the hair in a bun and cut the excess, but that proved to be impossible and would never look right cause the hair fibre is too smooth to stay in that position, so I ended up going the easy way... Glueing it. So far i've styled it in a high ponytail and then separated the inner layers of hair and started glueing them upwards, the rows from the center first, and so on until i glued the external layer from the inside so the glue would not show.. Unfortunately it did leak in some places and some white residues can be spotted, i'll try to take out as many of those as i can before i move on to the next step, cutting. I'm gonna cut all the excess hair, and using something that has a similar form to the hairbun, i'll cover that with the hair excess and glue it to the top of the head. Hopefully it'll turn as good as i'm hoping because there's no turning back now that i've glued all the hair lol. I've bought the feet so i can paint them, and the last thing is to get the body, which i've been putting off..
Btw, does anybody know if a triadtoys head will fit a phicen body? The last thing i need is the parts not fitting together lol.

Hey guys, does anybody know a suitable replacement for a Leon head? I want to make two customs, and my only option right now is a body with head that's about 350 usd lol, so it's a crazy option really. It might be worth it for one of my ideas but not the other one. I wanna make the gangster outfit and the 3.5 beta Leon, he's almost the same but the jacket has some different details and my bf really likes that one, so.. Any ideas?

Leon head is completely unique, nothing else like it unfortunately =/

I recall seeing a reproduction Leon head on eBay last week, looks like it's gone now. Best bet is to either fork over the dough or wait and see if HT will release a RE6 Leon.

sorry for spamming the thread but i just wanted to say... I FINISHED MY EXCELLA HEAD! oh man i'm so friggin glad lol. I ended up thinking of an easier way altogether, i used the hair from the head and nothing else (well, some glue and hairspray of course ).

If anybody is interested in a pictured tutorial, I can try to get hold of a barbie head or something similar to perform this magical ritual of styling

What I did was to first, glue the layers of hair in an upward position so it was prepared to be styled in a high ponytail so to speak (up till here was what was done in my previous post), then, after many failed ideas of how to make that damn bun, i separated two streaks of hair, one on the front of the head, to cover up what i was gonna cut, and one on the side, to roll around the lump of hair and make the bun. the rest of the hair got cut, leaving said lump in the middle (dont forget to put some glue in there too to make sure it stays shut and no hairs get loose), with the front streak of hair, i glued it over the cut hairs to cover that, and then cut the excess too (which i then used on one side to add volume, you can do that too with the other excesses but i went with a smaller bun just for safety). then, i used the side streak and rolled it around the lump, glueing my way around it, and then glued the tip of the hair to the back of the head (it's not that noticeable as you can see in the pic) and to ensure the bun gets that round shape I recommend using some rubber band to tie it up (not too hard though or it'll come undone when the glue is still fresh), leave it for 10 minutes and then take it out and it should be hard as rock. To make sure it stays that way i hairsprayed the hell out of it, and then it was done n.n I'm sorry if it's not the clearest thing, so that's why if anybody needs a pictured tutorial just ask

The feet are on their way and hopefully I'll stop buying hot toys so i can finally buy the body to finish this baby! I even have the base for it and not the body lol.

FFFFFFFFFFFFF really? T.T oh man why didnt i see it do you remember if it was like a bootleg head or something? I may have to customize some other dude's head lol but that's not what i want :/

Looked like the official thing to me, but the seller was saying it was a recast and painted. Maybe he used a stock picture?

By the way, excellent job on the Excella head!

Do you remember how much the Leon head was? I'll try looking for something similar then u.u


On another note, what should i go for: boots or loafers with something else over them? And also, i was thinking the PMC baby head for Ashley, since it was the only blonde head with a kind face i spotted, are there any other options out there?

Proto Item box...

It doesnt look as big in these pictures as it actually is. Proto item box will become finished item box once i can find something to make an actual bar for the front and finished making the lid. I have a really cool idea for the inside of it too. Then i can get around to making rest of the save room Diorama..

The only thing is from which game and from what save room will i be replicating ?!
