Wesker was freakin impaled and almost shrugged it off. Lava can't totally ruin him...

Wesker mutating himself beyond belief doesn't seem like him either. Birkin I actually liked a bit, but I wish his human self had more screen time. The g virus was shown to he adaptable in sherry as well, so he could be alive

Guys, I've been wondering what PS2 RE games should I play? I've never tried Outbreak and Code Veronica, are those good?

Code Veronica is the last true RE in the series, and was the start of Wesker's awesomeness since it is his first reappearance after the first RE. Outbreak is pretty meh offline and the servers are done for, but online was the most fun I've ever had in an online game.

That sounds awesome, I'll buy a copy off Amazon right now. If there's one thing I want to see, it's more Wesker .

Code Veronica is on PS3 as well, but the trophy support is terrible regardless, great game.

As the others have mentioned, Code Veronica is the last great classic RE. The HD version on PSN is a great port, slightly better than the RE4 port. You won't find a physical copy of the PS3 remaster unless you import from Japan or Asia. I have it since it came out but I don't have the skills to beat it like I did when I was younger.

RE4 and Code Veronica X received HD treatment and are available digitally in the U.S. via Xbox Live and PSN.

Code Veronica is and was intended to be the true Resident Evil 3 and sequel to RE2. Nemesis only took the title of 3 because they wanted to finish out the RE "trilogy" on Playstation and because Code Veronica was taking longer than expected to complete on the Dreamcast. Nemesis was called "Resident Evil 1.9" when in development.

Chronologically anyway. I think we're all forgetting the great REmake that came out two years before RE4.

Also Code Veronica had the great Richard Waugh portrayal of him. I like D.C. Douglas now, but I didn't at first since he's doing a Waugh impression... but I'll always wish that Waugh always voiced him.

This was a DVD short that came with Code Veronica on PS2, which is Wesker recapping the story up to Code Veronica.

I finally started playing Revelations last night, and man does the creepy vibe of that game feel so much better than RE 5 . I think the updated shooter controls makes things a bit too easy, though.

Controls are easier, but I've found the camera ****s up the peripheral vision when you're backed up against the wall. I wish you could swap back and forth from right to left handed stances, it would help around corners. I'm already level 43 on Raid mode.
