Oh btw, I tried the now RE4 Remaster on my friend's PC with 1080p/60fps with the upgraded textures side by side with the PS3 HD edition and the differences is MASSIVE. Dammit, I wish I had a gaming PC.

how big was the total files? mine was like 30GB. BTW i upgraded the PC cutscenes from the PS3 version to make it all HD.

No, not the old 2007 PC port, this is the newer 2014 port titled Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition. It was on my friend's PC and if I'm not mistaken it's slightly over 10 to 11GB. The 2007 port was even worse than the PS2 port.

There's absolutely no reason to stick just with the consoles now except for exclusives. I was very astonished by the graphics in the remastered version of RE 4, and even more so with RE 5. Anti-aliasing really does make a world of difference.

If you ever get to building a gaming PC, let me know and I'll help you select some good parts .

I'd love to. I need to build a gaming PC within a year or two. I doubt the PS4 will still be cutting edge in a few short years.

Hate to say it, but even the graphics in the TPP trailers have looked very underwhelming, thus far . Believe it or not, there's much more eye-candy in the PC version of RE 5 of all things (when all of the graphical settings have been maxed).

Games on the PS4 should look as good as they would on a mid-ranged PC, by today's standards. But, in comparison to PCs, I don't believe that the consoles can ever gain a superiority in graphics as they did at the beginning of the last generation. Those days have long since passed.

In any case, get a PC some day so we can play games on Steam . The games are also dirt cheap when they're on sale.
