6 is criminally underrated as a game. Im not taking a shot at anybody who maybe presented a real argument in the past against it but i dont think i've ever read a convincing argument for why its bad. Its always either " its not survival horror " " Ustanak is a cheap Nemesis clone " or some kind of " gay memes " because of Chris / Piers interactions. Usually hate for what it isnt, not for what it is.

I will throw out there that theres not enough distinct tracks in the musical score, some of the bosses are needlessly bullet sponges, the transformations with enemies mutating mid battle SHOULDNT give them invincibility while the animation plays out but they do. The fight against the giants in Edonia again when you play another scenario, the fight against Debra and Ustanak on different scenarios is annoying but atleast you know its there kind of like a Dark Souls game in that you can have a " team effort " with people online to take them down. It feels like a grind but its not without reason. I dont like the upgrade system, and that you cant all-round upgrade yourself you have to select 3 traits only. Carla sucked and so did Simmons. No alt costumes in new game + ?

All of thoes things annoy me, theres maybe even more. But i feel like its so unfairly treated. Its like going to a pizza joint that used to be a burger bar, get a pizza because the store has sold pizzas for the last 10 years and complain its not a burger, Eventhough the pizza might have 4 campaigns, full online co-op and a 20 hour campaign aswell as merceneries and creature mode where you can invade other players as demon... slices of pizza.

Capcom should focus on a Dino Crisis remake or a new one. Wasting time on these re-releases, but I guess there's a demand. :lol plus easy money for them. Just release 4 and you'll make money again. :lol

I already own 4 5 and 6 on PC so i dont need the games on ps4, but i am 100% buying them on day 1 to support the franchise. I dont understand eye rolling at these hd re-releases when we already know we are getting Re 2 remake, umbrella corps and Re 7 is in the works. Its not like they are taking the place of other titles they could make. And not everybody has the old consoles and games. Everytime a new gaming generation platform comes out its millions of peoples first platform.

Well the good thing about PC is that you don't have to buy the same game every 7 years when you change your hardware, you get 1080p & 60fps right from the start depending on your hardware and you only need to buy the remakes.

MGS2 Substance still great at 1080p. Silent Hill 2,3 & 4 @1080p still look better than many modern games.

Since price of PC & Console game is around the same, if you play console only you'd probably have bought 3-4 copies of the same game by now, and keep counting everytime a new console comes out. Those are just standalone copies, not including 2-in-1, 3-in-1, 4-in-1 Collection series.

I figure even though Console is cheaper than Gaming PC, the amount of cash you spend on repurchasing the same games for every new system can buy you new components. Also the fact that you need PSN+ to play most online games for PS4 makes PC more attractive. Unless you're a Last Of Us/Uncharted fan.

Also for RE4 theres lots of mods, you can even copy the Cutscenes on the HD version and replace the non-HD scenes. Tons of high-texture packs & ENB lightning mods. And if you're not a fan of mods, you can at least increase your FOV to suit widescreens.

That reminds me of how I wish we knew what happened to the dog in RE4, or found out anything more about Leon's supposed bloodhound he is mentioned to own.

I would believe it but then I remember that's a German Shepherd or something, and apparently that was a wolf in RE4

I dunno, Capcom can't get the story of Raccoon City nuke straight so they probably can't get a breed right :lol

PC gaming is actually wayyyy cheaper than console gaming here. ( In the UK ) ALOT of our games on PC are released 35-45% cheaper than the current gen consoles games on day 1 release assuming there is a disc version you can buy.

You can buy a expensive gaming rig, a really really expensive one the kind that makes console gamers think they are for the PC elite and 7 years in the future have of spent way less due to the cost of the games and also had a super computer all the while.

I will always own a console of some sort but PC's are the way to go in the long run. If you bought the same games for pc that you did for ps4 here, and you bought only 10 games a year youd have £150 more money each year. If you factor that over the life span of a console generation its about £1,350 and thats more than enough to buy a PC that will carry you passed the playstation 5... for free because its money you didnt spend!

for me best part is you don't have to replay the game the 200th times just because you just purchased a new version of the same game. if i've been playing the game & completed it for the older version, i'd like to have everything unlocked when i purchase the Same game over a new console so i can just enjoy playing, not busy unlocking everything over & over again.

Just got this in the mail today straight from Japan. I checked really quick and it does indeed have English subtitles (and they're good English subtitles to boot!). IIRC, this is actually canon according to Capcom and regardless it's mostly a standalone story anyway. to summarize, it takes place after RE5 but before RE6 at a University in Australia. Chris and Piers alongside BSAA Oceania (a first!) respond to a zombie outbreak. Coincidentally, Rebecca is there lecturing classes when the outbreak occurs. Even the famous Sonny Chiba plays an integral character in this. I'll probably give it a watch tonight.

Looks like this takes place in West Austrailia on August 12th, 2010. There's a nice little flashback about 20 minutes in explaining Umbrella and the Mansion Incident.
