A bunch of franchises are celebrating anniversaries this year, whoa.

Ooh man I've been looking for the long box, I might get that sometime. I'd have like, three copies of RE1 by that point though. Even though one of them doesn't work

Still hilarious to think the only worthwhile villain the series ever had is now dead. I don't really count Alfred and Alexia since they weren't scheming behind the scenes for years.

Alexia was barely there too, being in cryostasis for years. I could see her as having been a respectable villain though. Alfred was a complete joke, literally

Killing Wesker really did kill the series, and I still think Sheva should have had no part in it, just Chris and Jill. Also, I can see Leon and Wesker meeting being absolutely hilarious

If he was a villain (As a human) he had too little screentime or not enough development.

Nemesis though, he really is almost a villain and monster in one considering how he goes out of his way to impede Jill and the fact that he knows how to do it.

I agree with that. Birkin is just trying to reproduce and his aim isn't any of the characters and he indirectly confronts them most of the time. Even as a human, he was just a researcher and nothing more.

Then how do you come to the conclusion that Birkin is one? Nemesis isn't a villain either, but he is an antagonist to the player since he's actively trying to kill Jill. Birkin is a pseudo antagonist since Leon and Claire are only in his way.

I could see him being competent, probably having a lot more to do with Wesker since he actually respected Birkin. I read that Wesker was not pleased with the death of Birkin as well. But yeah, he didn't do much outside of researching and being responsible for RE2, indirectly while Wesker was directly responsible for RE1.

Basically this, Nemesis actively goes out of his way to kill Jill, and if he can't, he hinders any chances of her survival and anything in his way. Birkin as a monster didn't really care about anything in his way, except impregnating Sherry. He had no real beef with Claire or Leon, he probably had one with Umbrella but that's a stretch.

RE never really had a memorable villain, except Wesker. I'm not including BOW's like Nemesis or Tyrant/etc. Not even the wanna be Hilary Clinton from the CGI movie.
