While it would be cool to play a Spec Ops story, fitting that, the USS campaign, and MP onto one disc seems unlikely. It would probably have to go the Battlefield 3 route and since it hasn't been stated that there is more than 1 disc, I wouldn't hold out too much hope. Maybe they'll get something like mission DLC down the way.

Descriptions of the different modes.

ALL ROADS LEAD TO HELL

In Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, players will be able to experience online 4 vs. 4 team battles playing as either a member of the Umbrella Security Service (USS) or US Spec Ops.

Take on the role of the bad guys with USS members Vector, Beltway, Lupo, Four-Eyes, Spectre or Bertha. Alternatively, play as the good guys and experience the horrors of Raccoon City as US Spec Ops members Tweed, Dee-ay, Harley, Willow, Shona or Party Girl. Breaking the conventions of traditional third person shooters, players will not only have to compete against their team's opposing squad but tackle a third unpredictable force as zombies and B.O.W.s add to the mix.

• Team Deathmatch: Battle for the most kills in brutal triple threat chaos that leaves players never knowing what's behind them, an element that could only exist in the twisted Resident Evil universe.

• Biohazard Mode: Ensure that samples of the G-virus are returned safely to their base while fighting off all the competing forces at play in Raccoon City.

• Survivors Mode: Try to survive the horror just a little bit longer while waiting for rescue. There's limited space on board a helicopter so fight off the opposition and survive the hordes of hungry zombies, risking infection if they get too close. Try to make it out of Raccoon City alive!

• Heroes Mode: Previously announced, Heroes Mode allows fans to play as one of their favorite Resident Evil characters, including Leon S. Kennedy, HUNK or Jill Valentine.

Game sounds great. Hopefully it can deliver solid gameplay. This would be the first RE game I bought since RE4. I played RE5,, but never bought it.

:rock I know what I'll be playing.

Why are there never any raccoons in and around Raccoon City? Fifteen years this franchise has been going, and not a single damn raccoon. I want to see raccoons, damn it. Alive and dead. Raccoon City, my ass.

You can shove your undead dogs and birds, zombie raccoons for the win!

Or not, whatever.

I've honestly wondered the ____ out of why they went with the name "Raccoon City" for 16 years, and I still don't know :lol

Then where is that Raccoon's statue? There should at least be a statue.

Raccoon discrimination!

Raccoon city was originally a little mountain town, until Umbrella heavily invested in the town from about, the 50's I think, or 40's. Industrialised the town into the 20th century, specifially from '87 when umbrella funded mayor warren, hence his prominent statue with the stone book/sun dial puzzle from Nemesis =]
