Jeez you should see the capcom forums. Those guys really want puzzles and horror survival back

I never expected this game to be like a normal Resident Evil title and I don't see how anybody could. Would like to see a bit of a return to the series' original roots in the main series, though

Considering this will be the first Resident Evil game that I will fully play (only played bits of others), I haven't been ruined by the expectation of the survival horror aspect of the series. I saw ORC and thought it might be a fun Gears of War style game and that's all. With a franchise as established as RE, I'm honestly surprised it took them this long to come out with such a different style of game (though i've heard 5 was pretty divergent).

This game is going to be bad and you guys are still going to shell out money for a bad game if anyone played socom you should no that slant six is terrible at making games.

If you'd played the first ones, you would understand why they shouldn't.

If I listened to every critic that said a game sucked, I would have missed out on a lot of games I really enjoy.

This :lecture:goodpost::exactly: One of my favorite non-Resident Evil survival horror games is Haunting Ground and it wasn't very well liked by critics. RE Dead Aim wasn't very well received by critics either if I remember correctly and it's my favorite RE sub-game.

I know the style and gameplay of the other ones, just never played them. I never said that they should have, just that with such a big franchise it seems that they would have tried branching out sooner, like Mario did with its other game like Mario Kart or Halo did with Halo Wars.

They've already kind of branched out with games like the Chronicles series on Wii, Gun Survivor games, and the Outbreak series.

Yes! Haunting Ground, such a gem.

And yes Dead Aim is a surprisingly fun entry.

And that's wrong, why?:dunno

They are judging a re6 from just one trailer and if you don't like Orc then don't play it , it wasn't meant to be a serious re game but just something to tide us over til re6 :slap. Who the he'll wants puzzles back anyway! Never liked puzzles. And except for re5 very resident evil game has Kinda survival horror

All in all, I just wish we weren't restricted to "Heroes Mode" to play our favorite characters. It'd be damn awesome if we could substitute the characters in Campaign mode with any of the the franchise characters ala Lost Planet 2.
