Wesker defines villains. Killing him really killed the RE franchise, it can't be stressed enough. They need to follow Solidus's plan to revive Wesker (again )via nanomachine madness from Lord Kojima-san

I still don't understand this (or DMC 4, but since 4 supposedly includes Vergil, that could be enough for me) since it's not like The Last of Us, which is still very popular and relevant a year later. Other games that got redone were popular too, but DmC has a TON of hate and backlash, while the remaining love it had is pretty much gone. DmC is not a terrible game honestly, but the developers definitely were not sure of what they were doing at times. The fans aren't much better either, they say the devs were *******s but by god, those fans were, and still are, ****ing terrible sometimes.

Zero...why does it need a remaster? It's ok, but it's not that well loved. IT was the last traditional RE for a reason likely, with the common criticism that the series needed to change. Hell, now that we look at it, doesn't this mean we are at 4 games with separate HD ports? RE4, Code Veronica, REmake, and now RE0. What next, RE5 and 6 get next gen ports?

The remaster is pretty simple to deduce. It's a cheap and simple reissue to try to gain back some of the money they lost from the initial release. The best thing they didnfor this definitive edition is give the Dante on the cover white hair

It'd be cheap if they didn't touch it up like Ubisoft didn't bother with Splinter Cell. which is weird since Prince of Persia was such a great port. I didn't actually notice the white hair on teh DmC cover, oh god

not that difficult to revive Wesker, i mean they can even come up with outrageous stories like Wesker has a Son named Jak, why can't they revive Wesker, since Wesker is one of the many "Child", most likely there's another Wesker clone hanging around Racoon City. With all the biotech & stuff, they can just implant a Wesker memory like Total Recall & Viola Ice Cold Wesker is back, without those awful mutated arms.

I mean... it's not necessarily a bad thing to get Zero in HD... but it's like the only thing they can rely on at this point is ports.

RE0 isn't bad at all, it's like RE1 Remake with more actions, guns & bullets. I still remember the zombie that runs to you in the toilet, hard to kill and sucks your health dry. I believe the people who hated RE0 are those that hated Rebecca when they were playing RE1/Remake.

DMC3 needs a HD remaster



I'm not knocking the game itself, just the pointless need to reboot a story that didn't need a reboot. I played the demo, it does play really smooth.

it's much easier to port a PS3 game onto a PS4 game than going all the way back to port a Gamecube game onto a PS4 and having to upscale everything to HD. at least for PS3 it's just a 720p to 1080p upscaling. and since it's not such an old game, people whom never played it on PS3/Xbox360/PC would buy & play it on PS4.

RE0 isn't bad at all, it's like RE1 Remake with more actions, guns & bullets. I still remember the zombie that runs to you in the toilet, hard to kill and sucks your health dry. I believe the people who hated RE0 are those that hated Rebecca when they were playing RE1/Remake.

I never hated Rebecca, and I think the atmosphere and mood of Zero is great. I just think the whole singing Marcus thing is ridiculious, and I personally feel having this idiot as the reason the Mansion bio-hazard happened kinda detracts from RE1. It's nice knowing the reason for it, but if I knew it was queenie singing Marcus... I would of rather not known. Not to mention, the inconsistencies that clash with RE2 when you get to the lab towards the end.

I'd have loved to see a complete remaster of the original Street Fighter II game for PS3.

SFII is perfect the way it is, there is no need for a remaster. Upscalling it to 1080p just make it look awkward, no different from playing modern 2D games.

SFII, KOF looks better pixelated seriously. Just look at recent KOF titles in HD, doesn't give the same feel. 2D games look fine pixelated. Also let's not forget the midi Music & SFX.
