when you say old you mean SFIV, or even older ones because no way SFIV resembles the older games especially Series II, those super cancel moves where you have to press 2 buttons...

Well I mean the formula, but of course it's not exactly the same as the 2D games.

SFIV & V are still 2D games in 3D sprites representation, Tekken on the other hand is 3D just like Virtual Fighter. Fatal Fury 1 was 2.5D.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the game will be a cross buy for Sony platforms, so don't fret if you get the PS3 version first and a PS4 much later. Man, Capcom has being handling this with Godlike grace.

what do you mean, i though PS3 games are not compatible with PS4 and they prefer you to buy a PS4 version when you have a PS4?

It means that if you don't have a PS4, you can get it for your PS3 first and enjoy a free upgrade anytime you get a PS4.

Was playing this last night pretty awesome on PS3 the graphics look sharp I got the physical disc I can upgrade to the ps4 version?

Unfortunately it only applies for the digital versions.

Incidentally folks, out of the subsequent releases after RE3 'Nemesis' e.g, RE5, RE6 etc (never played them), are any of those worth buying if I can get them cheap?

I think I might already know the answer, but I just wanted some feedback.

RE4 is fantastic, but not at all like the previous games.

RE5 is great if you have a friend to play it with, borderline broken if you don't. If you like old 80's action films starring Schwarzenegger/Stallone/etc you'll get a kick out of playing as Chris in it.

RE6 I can't comment on, but it seems to have single-handedly killed the franchise, so...

you guys totally missed out Outbreak 1 & 2, Dead Aim & Operation Racoon City, they were pretty decent games unlike RE6.

RE4 is fantastic, but not at all like the previous games.

this! Though 5 is really a joke game at this point, a good one (ish) but yeah. 4 being different isn't a bad thing at all.
