I'll be honest, I wouldn't hate Steve if it wasn't for moments that make no actual sense even for RE standards. Telling Claire she would 'cramp his style' after she held him up at gun point and to shut up, not giving her the gold lugers because he 'found them first' when she saved his life when he almost died (he didn't even thank her), questioning her weight on a serious note, those creeper moments on the second half of the disc and so on. More importantly is that he drags out the game for stupid reasons, all of what I said. I hear in Darkside he really is a better character, so I'll take the mutual word on it.

I just found Alfred's split personality thing hilarious and how he kept the Alexia personality even without the wig and dress, along with the forced incest etc.

Not even close because at least Alfred could legitimately fool people in person Claire couldn't believe there was a real Alexia for a reason!

Henry? Had to do all that cybering for a reason. Plus...well, Alfred's situation paints him as more sane than Henry, who went insane from a toy forum.

I have to say, I noticed that Rebecca looks a lot more different than other characters in both Remasters. Her face and hair mostly.

Steve is one of the best characters. He's 18 years old and lost his mom and dad. What do you expect

Sherry, who was 9, lost her parents during the events of RE2, and to far more traumatic circumstances - father turned into an ever evolving monster that impregnated her, and mother was killed by said father. Look at how Sherry turned out, and how she held up during RE2, and RE3's epilogue. Your argument is completely invalid at that point.

Idk Ashley was annoying as hell, Steve at least got killed.

They're both on the same level of awful, but at least Ashley could be manipulated, in some clever ways like using Leon to call her and have the garradors follow his voice Steve getting killed though...this was my reaction



and there is some therapeutic about putting Ashley in the suit of armor, and watching her get pounded into oblivion. Especially by regenerators. Also I love how Capcom seemed to imply they had plans for Steve but just abandoned it altogether
