Well, the CG movies that's canon to the games are pretty darn good. I'd love to see something like that in live action.
I don't think they're amazing, but I'll obviously take them over any of these.

That's up to Capcom. Capcom instructed Paul to create his own universe, using elements from the games.

Just watch RE6, I mean just play 6.
Worst CGI movie ever! Hopefully the reboot doesn't follow the games especially after Code Veronica.

If anything happens with the series after these movies, i would prefer a smaller scale series like Daredevil or Stranger Things on Netflix. A premium channel like HBO, Cinemax or STARZ would be ok as well but I'd prefer Netflix cause then I could binge watch an entire season.
Speaking of Stranger Things, David Harbour plays a sheriff in show and is seen a couple times with a revolver and I couldn't help but think how awesome he would be as Barry Burton.

they even made a mock up trailer to show producers what it would look like but i guess none of them was interested
With good writers and a good budget behind it, and have it based on the game series to a T... it would destroy stupid TWD. I really hate this series is 20 years old this year, and it's gotten no good live action adaptions.
And Romero did that. Still, Brad Renfro looked way too young to be Leon and whoever did Claire looked too old to be the college student she was in the game.
Even games don't resemble the games anymore. Resident Evil 7 is trying to be that P.T. teaser. The series has been off the rails since RE4. I love that game, but it's the start of the steep decline of the series no longer being survival horror.
if they did a new reboot or a tv show, what do you think it would look like? would it look like horror like the first games or would Capcom ask them to make it full action ?

It's been straight action for a decade now. RE7 at least looks like it's moving away from that, but it's going in a completely different direction entirely.

they can ignore 4, 5, 6 and 7. At this point it all depends on Capcom. I'm sure they already have movie companies approaching them with cash for the series rights. It's up to them if they want the TV show or film to follow the game.

You could easily get 6 seasons out of RE1-CV.
