The earlier games. they can ignore 4, 5, 6 and 7.

At this point it all depends on Capcom. I'm sure they already have movie companies approaching them with cash for the series rights. It's up to them if they want the TV show or film to follow the game.

the reason the movies turn out the way they did was because Capcom wanted them that way right? They would tell Paul Anderson to make them more action and detached from the games? is that correct?

(I know they had to fight to bring Jill for the last movie because Capcom didn't want them to use all the RE characters together like that, they wanted them to not use Jill or something)

Yup, Capcom instructed Paul to create his own universe, using elements from the games. Also which characters he can use. Reason why the first movie didn't have any RE characters. Romero's script had the RE characters but Capcom hated his script.

Honestly... We wouldn't see any sequels. Probably straight to DVD or a SyFy original movie. the horror!!! look at the movie franchises like House of Dead, Silent Hill, not even Disney's Prince of Persia got a sequel. we'll see how Fassbender movie does or the new tomb raider reboot. Plus, be thankful Uwe Boll didn't get the rights to RE.

Yea, the series pretty much is.

I've enjoyed them all. Should have called it Biohazard though.

Still waiting for my RE2 Alice dawl, HT.

T-Virus> all. I like the G-Virus, but it only really had one game that showcased it and only makes one version of a monster, something covered in eyeballs . Hopefully it gets tinkered with in REmake 2.

That was Capcom's English localization. For whatever reason I guess they thought that Biohazard wouldn't of worked here in 1996.

One thing the English players lucked out with was getting a better title for RE3. Nemesis > Last Escape.
