Cloth usually is the determining factor, I was laughing at the use of "true premium format", as to say that Gambit, Iron Man, or Black Panther were fake premium formats.

The amount of mixed media is not the determining factor.

I don't see the hang up with mixed media. Yes, in a thousand years, when the paint is gone, people will still be able to admire the sculpting talent you had in your collection. And your ghost will too, although it will be sad that the colors just ain't what they used to be.

I can think of a million characters that would be superior in mixed media.

Since I love the way the captain America came out as a pf I'll have to vote cloth . But I'd love too see them try an iron man in cloth rofl!!!

My sentiments exactly, I love the PF's but armoured characters just wouldn't work. I'd love a spidey done in a proper PF, fully in cloth, but a rubber like material for the webbing/spider and eye parts. The wolvie PF should have had the same material as cyclops' jacket, leather like.

Gambit and Black Panther were sculpted pieces with a coat and a cape tossed in just to call them PFs. Calling them PFs is a bit misleading.

True PFs are more like the Wolverine and Sabretooth PFs. Their costumes consisted mainly of cloth. IMHO, both of those sculpts would have looked much better fully sculpted.

The PFs with the least amount of cloth seems to be the sculpts that look best. This just makes me firmly believe that 1/4 scale fully sculpted just can't be beat.

I like the way you can change the way the jacket looks on gambit, having it fully sculpted means you're stuck with however SS sculpt the jacket, plus you can remove the jacket and have a totally different look, same as cyclops.

Real leather for those that wear leather for thier costumes, and I retract my previous statement, real metal for iron man and other armoured characters. And as I mentioned before a rubber like material for some characters. Just imagine scarlet spider with a real sweatshirt material and leather ankle pouches, it wouldlook awesome. And Blade with real eather and a real metal sword and stakes, same as Ghost Rider, again real leather with metal spikes coming from his jacket and a real metal chain.

yeah....then the price would be sky high on top of the shipping b/c the statue is so heavy
