The return of the helms is now a reality, I announced this in a thread of mine in this forum, but for reasons unknown to me my thread got closed wonder why that happened :?

I have no idea, but I have re-opened it and merged it with the new thread that was created
So, all talk of the new 1/4 Helms (which is awesome BTW ) can be kept in one place.

I apologize for not sending you a reason. The thread which you started I looked at it was more speculation of wanting to see the helm series come back. I started a thread the other thread as an official announcement the series was back.

I apologize for not sending you a reason. The thread which you started I looked at it was more speculation of wanting to see the helm series come back. I started a thread the other thread as an official announcement the series was back.

Depends what this is. I'd probably buy an uruk general, and definately Skully from ROTK!

It's like Darth Vader...They will make more...I'm not saying the obscure ones...But I could see them making another cool Sauron or Witch king helm or even a Gandalf hat...Either way I'm excited...hope it doesnt go the Shield route and end after 3...We will see...

As they'd be the same scale, there's no point. That would basically be opening up the same item for release. You can't exactly re-release it in a different pose. Not a chance.

Certainly Weta has taken their time to bring a the next shield, and if we do not see a shield being one of the 8 LOTR items that are planned to be released this year, then we will have a strong reason to believe that shields did not sell as good as Weta wanted.
Not being a scaled replica but a pin instead, the shield line suffered a lack of replica materials, a back side and their biggest defect was their petite size. And if you look at the shields of middle earth poster, there are not too many shields left that will hold similar size, many of them being much smaller. If Weta at least could release one shield to represent each race of Middle Earth before abandoning this line!

Well I could be wrong but it sure feels like the Shields ended at 3...They were alot of money for something so small too...They IMHO should have been no more than 25 each
